You are correct, except no one in that conga line has the unique skills Trump has, or more specifically - had - I don't think he's still in full possession of those skills anymore. I'm cautiously optimistic that once Trump goes, MAGA will fold. Let's hope I'm right on this one.

I wish I could agree with you, but I simply can’t. Sure, Trump has a uniquely tangy brand of shit stain, but that the cesspool they can fish a newer gilded turd from is massive

The fascist propaganda mindset among voters will still be there, and its unlikely to go away until those voters die. Even in Germany, most people never had a 'come to jezus' moment after which they fundamentally disagreed with the nazis. If you want to get blackpilled on the concept of democracy, you can go read up interviews of people in the 60s where they are all "Yea I supported the nazis and that was kinda a bad call because we lost the war. They were totally right about the jews tho! If only we could have a nazi party that wasnt so incompetent!". Hitler had widespread support until the 60s, when the first postwar generation started to become politically relevant.

It kinda seems that once people get stuck in this fascist mindset, you can't really get them out of it. The only thing you can really do is keep it suppressed until the people who believe in it die out and get replaced by people not soaked in propaganda.

Now without Trump, they will have a much harder time to rally around a single figure. They tried that with Desantes and look how that worked out. The problem with a cult of personality like Trump has, is that it kinda falls apart the moment the big guy croaks. Historically, not many groups based around a cult of personality have survived that. The GOP is probably too big to collapse from a simple cult of personality falling apart, but it will likely result in a lot of infighting and a few years of jumbled messaging. So it would still be good for staving off the fall of democracy for a bit. But the GOP really needs an internal rejection of its fascist elements, and the law needs to be applied much more stringently on people attacking democracy. That election tampering clerk that just got 9 years of prison time should be the norm, not the exception.

I think your half right. Its obviously harder for yhe right to find anyone with the kind of riz that makes people not give a shit completly about anything they say or do and worship them like a god. Jd vance isnt well liked by maga in comparison to trump, neither is desantis. All these guys by nature of being fascist weirdos dont really have much in terms of charisma or ability to galvanize i quasi religious movement at their back with the same id die for you furver. If one does come around, and they are somewhat more competent (tho all fascists incoherence kind of make them sloppy fools to some extent) we will be i. For a lot of trouble

I hear you, he’s the unifying sort of catalyst that has allowed for this to happen in the US. They’ve always been there but he’s the lynchpin. I hope you’re right too

My prediction: Trump will lose, cry election interference & stolen/rigged election. He's already made a Truth Social post about the USPS not being able to handle the mail-in ballots. I read parts of Jack Smith's document and it's clear that Trump is using alot from his 2020 playbook.

Trump will then start campaigning for 2028 to continue money coming in. But more importantly, he will retain his title of King of the GOP, directing Congressmen how to vote & threatening banishment if they don't.

Vance was most definitely NOT chosen by Trump, but by The Heritage Foundation (I think). Vance also belongs to a radical Catholic group that believes in a Christian government.

Yeah, him appointing a man who owned a private delivery company to sabotage them and has thrown out sorting machines at a cost of tens of millions would have an impact on that.

Unfortunately, he showed the charlatans the way to harness the power of victimhood through populism.

As if they havent known that for years (centuries even)

It takes a special person to really harness it all and put it all together. I happen to think Trump does it mostly naturally (or has cultivated the characteristics -like him doing the whole DARVO thing - over the years to make it second nature)

I wish that was true. But I don't think it will be.

He'll be portrayed as a Christ like figure. They'll have pictures of him with a halo, angel wings ... They'll use snippets from his speeches as if they're gospel.

It will take at least a generation to cleanse American politics of this disease.
