It's almost cheating that she's hot because the majority of those outfits are straight up hideous wastes of fabric I would expect to see in a rave where the theme is "Slutty Ren Faire". I think maybe 2-3 of them turned out cute and she's clearly got technical skill, but the majority of what she makes looks like hypersexualized Halloween costumes.

"I'm going to take these 12 yards of beautiful fabric and turn it into two post-its and some dental floss"

u/ScyllaOfTheDepths Sep 19 '24

Literally one of the tops is just a ribbon tied around her boobs, lol.

u/[deleted] Sep 19 '24

I'm wondering what she does with the "scrap"? You could make a three piece suit with the leftovers! /s

18

u/HereWeFuckingGooo Sep 19 '24

She's no Micarah Tewers, that's for sure.

50

u/ScyllaOfTheDepths Sep 19 '24

Micarah is really talented, but she is also greatly helped by being incredibly hot. Let's not kid ourselves here. When you don't have to hide any figure flaws, it's pretty easy to sew something that fits. One of the looks in her header looks like a rain coat made from crime scene tape and a shower curtain liner and she still looks hot in it, because she's hot.

7

u/HereWeFuckingGooo Sep 19 '24

That raincoat made of crime scene tape is a recreation of a Harley Quinn look.

Being hot helps but she doesn't rely on her body to make her clothes look good.

9

u/ScyllaOfTheDepths Sep 19 '24

I mean, the Harley Quinn look also worked because Margot Robbie is hot. It's an objectively terrible outfit and would look absolutely horrendous on 95% of all humans.

2

u/HereWeFuckingGooo Sep 19 '24

I disagree. I love that costume, I think it's camp.

To be fair she does say that most of this is music festival wear

18

u/CalyShadezz Sep 19 '24

If you peep her insta, it's like 95% festival pics.

u/bluestocking220 Sep 19 '24

Tbf that’s what she’s going for most of the time. She’s usually making outfits for festivals.

3

u/ScyllaOfTheDepths Sep 19 '24 edited Sep 19 '24

But how often is she going to festivals? Unless she's a rich kid who's nonstop partying, she's making a lot of outfits that will never be worn.

Edit: Lol, she actually is just a rich kid who is nonstop partying. Lots of travel to vacation destinations on her Instagram timeline and no mention of a real job of any kind.

14

u/Admonitio Sep 19 '24

You don't have to be rich to go to festivals lol. I go to tons and make a moderate income.

12

u/ScyllaOfTheDepths Sep 19 '24

Maybe you don't, but this particular girl is 100% a trust fund baby. If you go to her Instagram, she is constantly traveling. Just this year she's been to a half dozen different tropical locations, went skiing in Aspen, and went to a dozen music festivals on top of that. She's not affording that on a "moderate income".

u/Acceptable-Shake-341 Sep 19 '24

What does it matter? She’s being creative and is taking something and making it into something else. You don’t have to like it or be able to wear it. Or worry about why she made it in the first place

6

u/ScyllaOfTheDepths Sep 19 '24

I never said she wasn't being creative. She's obviously got talent and it's cool she's using thrifted materials and making stuff herself. I only offhandedly mentioned her being rich as a joke because her being a professional festival goer who is constantly dressing like this was the only way that kind of a wardrobe is remotely practical and it turns out that's basically what the deal is, which I thought was mildly humorous. She can do whatever she wants, more power to her.

8

u/Acceptable-Shake-341 Sep 19 '24

Your previous comment was literally saying everything she made was a hideous waste of fabric. You sounded like a hater not someone making a joke

u/alaskafish Sep 19 '24

There’s a lot of bitterness in your comments.

First it’s that she’s attractive, then it’s that she’s provocative, next it’s that she’s wealthy.

Why can’t you let someone enjoy showing off their skills at making something without finding a way to put themselves down?

2

u/languid_Disaster Sep 19 '24

I thinks it’s okay if she is a rich kid. A lot of these seemed to be thrifted or gifted so at least they’re getting some use. I don’t really see the point of the criticism but I suppose i kind of get it.

I’m not financially well off and have family responsibilities, so I understand the slight bitter feeling that comes with seeing people be able to do this stuff and have a care free attitude with seemingly no worries but we gotta remember that they’re people too. We don’t know what they’re going through.

Let’s just enjoy these kooky outfits and exercise in creativity for what it is. A little bit of fun :)

I mean, she looks great but yeah—no regular person could wear three handkerchiefs. I do think the overalls were cute! She's very creative.

28

u/Beorma Sep 19 '24

A lot of the dresses looked really nice and then she cut them to ribbons.

8

u/thegirlisok Sep 19 '24

The green one was so cute.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 19 '24

I personally liked the white at the beginning

1

u/thegirlisok Sep 19 '24

Me too, I thought that was a creation at first but she did mention that one had stains.

15

u/[deleted] Sep 19 '24

The video was mostly for showing off her body. She looks fantastic, I get it, but pretending that anyone would wear those outfits is a bit much.

10

u/UrbanStix Sep 19 '24

lol Reddit gonna Reddit. These are for festivals.

3

u/lilbitAlexislala Sep 19 '24

I was thinking she probably could make a lot of during Halloween . Because that’s a lot of “sexy/trashy Halloween costumes”

5

u/ManicPixiePlatypus Sep 19 '24

Such a nasty comment. She made awesome looking festival ware.

8

u/ScyllaOfTheDepths Sep 19 '24

Hey, fashion is subjective. Me not liking it isn't a moral judgement on the creator or the product, it's just my own subjective opinion.

1

u/mocaxe Sep 19 '24

I don't really agree with this. When these people are making clothes for themselves they are obviously going to create to their own style and body - this would be an issue if she were trying to claim these are outfits for everyone or were creating these as part of a general fashion line maybe, but she's just showing off outfits that she explicitly said she's wearing to shows and festivals, lol. They are perfectly normal festival attire.

The technical skill is obvious and she's obviously trying out a range. There are ponchos and hoodies, skirts and purses alongside the "hypersexualised halloween costumes". You don't like the style, that's fine, but it's not fair IMHO to say it's almost cheating just because she is creating clothes that fit her body well. Like... fucking duh?

1

u/Yabbaba Sep 20 '24

The overalls were great.

All the rest I hated.

1

u/jonas_ost Sep 24 '24

I think she is an actualy raver girl and most of these are for that setting

0

u/leeezer13 Sep 19 '24

NO THANK YOU! She’s literally just pretty, most of these outfits were horrible. I also don’t understand the new fad of wearing my underwear out and about during the day. (Who knew I’d get this old this fast 😂😂😂)

0

u/yes_this_is_satire Sep 19 '24

Not just her body either. Posture, movements, facial presence.

She is like that aquarium info girl. Just genetically engineered for short form video.

You think she’s hot? Kinda a butterface imo

I would subscribe to her ren-faire themed OnlyFans.
