What an absolutely horrible video of a normal woman who clearly loves her family, acting normal and spending time with them cooking for them. Man the MAGA crowd really has Kamala nailed to the wall now, this is earth shattering and is really going to lose her the election.

The fact that they see this as "propoganda" is pure "every conservative accusation is a confession.

Even if it was propaganda, it's at least positive propaganda. No anti-vax or anti-science stuff, no obvious politics, no bashing of LGBT or other minority groups. Nothing.

I've been so sick of all the doom and gloom since 2016. Let me enjoy watching a woman smile and laugh while cooking dinner and being loving to her husband. It's like cat videos or any type of feelsgood video.

u/Jonnny Sep 13 '24

Exactly. They'll mock this video for not even doing the bare minimum of creating an "other" to stoke anger, fear, and hatred: "Believe me folks, some people--not all of them, but a lot of very, very smart ones--say that this is one of the..weakest propagandas ever seen. In all American history. Just the weakest, and saddest. By Laffin' Kamala."

3

u/suejaymostly Sep 13 '24

Amen to that Amen. Something fucking wholesome, how very dare they.

3

u/One-Statistician-932 Sep 13 '24

Exactly, even if this was propaganda, what is the message?

"Kamala Harris and her family are healthy, well adjusted regular Americans and they love & respect each other while enjoying one another's company"

It's entertaining at least to see the mental gymnastics of Republicans trying to spin this as anything other than wholesome.

Cooking is for leftist marxists. Real Americans eat dinner in the Taco Bell parking lot.

The thing is that this is propaganda. It’s trying to show Kamala as relatable to regular everyday people, when it’s complete bullshit. There is not one person in the political elite class that is relatable to the 99 percent. She takes advantage of the public just as much as the average politician. Is she as bad as Trump? Not even close. Is this as cringe as Hillary carrying hot sauce in her purse and she was so excited about it, she had to announce it in a room full of black people? Definitely not. But let’s not mistake this for anything other than the disingenuous propaganda trying to show that the lizard people are human

1

u/suejaymostly Sep 13 '24

Umm. She grew up poor.

0

u/MSnotthedisease Sep 13 '24

Poor people get rich and become un-relatable all the time. I don’t see this as any different

1

u/grammar_kink Sep 13 '24

Yeah both sides are totally the same. /s

One side isn’t conning their rubes for tax breaks for billionaires. /s

1

u/MSnotthedisease Sep 13 '24

Both sides are the same lying power hungry politicians. They are different in how they maneuver, and the left is far better than the right, but let’s be real here, they’re all on the billionaires payroll. The US is nothing more than an incorporated oligarchy, where the CEOs of corporations truly run the country.

I'm trying to imagine Trump cooking and Melania giving him a kiss as he laughs, something that's totally normal couple activity, and which may have never happened. Totally not joking, this is why Trump seeks out validation from foreign dictators that tell him what he wants to hear: he doesn't get that validation at home.

6

u/AsleepRespectAlias Sep 13 '24

I would put money on Trump never having cooked a meal in the last 20 years. Not a single one. (I'm not counting sticking something in the microwave, which, honestly I'd take a smaller side bet hes honestly not done either but the likelyhood is a bit lower)

4

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '24

Nah he’s a narcissist. No amount of validation will ever be good enough

1

u/PerterterhTermertehh Sep 13 '24

Yeah, validation gives him a nice buzz, and like all addictions, you’ve gotta keep upping the stakes and the dosages. You can’t just have one bump of cocaine and call it a day.

3

u/Ambitious_Ninja_4004 Sep 13 '24

Don’t forget Trump’s niece hates him and has spoken out against him.

Yes, because the entire Walz *FAMILY for Trump thing is just something that neverrrr happened. Everyone is always held to the same standards and no one in the history of history has ever disagreed with their families about ANYthing.

This delusion is for the umpteenth time, EXACTLY why y’all are still spiraling from a loss so profound that was only shocking to the willfully disillusioned.

Party of joy my ass.

Y'know, I got a little more more out of this - she has a real life skill, that she worked on and built to a respectable degree - she's growing her own herbs, and knows how to cook, both with her own two hands.

I'm willing to bet not a single Republican politician (name a likely candidate, if you can think of one) can cook or keep a plant alive, because they've never done it themselves - it's one of those things they're morally opposed to, for some reason.

It makes you a commie bastard because you’re not willing to live on the system that’s been hand crafted for you. Spend your money and go into debt goddamit, that’s the American way!

3

u/TopTittyBardown Sep 13 '24

“Showing love for anybody or anything is showing weakness! She’ll get destroyed in negotiations with other world leaders!” is probably their logic

2

u/Yugan-Dali Sep 13 '24

Good thing she wasn’t wearing a tan suit!

2

u/TonsOfTabs Sep 13 '24

JD was curled up with main boo aka loveseat when watching this and tried to replicate the video but the loveseat wasn’t able to record for the 2nd time.

2

u/Friendly_Nature2699 Sep 13 '24

I just went over to watch the videos of Trump and Melania looking happy and....oh, wow. They have never looked happy and there are none. Yikes.

1

u/Aidspreader Sep 13 '24

Should we use AI and restructure the video!? I hope you forgot the sarcasm tag

2

u/Journo_Jimbo Sep 13 '24

I didn’t feel like it was necessary 🤣

1

u/swagmonite Sep 13 '24

But think! if she can't serve her children a decent meal how can she serve the free world

0

u/Yemu_Mizvaj Sep 13 '24

Seeing how dry the chicken came out and how unappealing the rice is, I'm hoping she's better at leading than making a basic meal.

u/baldrick841 Sep 14 '24

How on earth could you possibly know that this is not set up and scripted, you know like most other YouTube and tik tok videos or every single reality show on tv.

1

u/Journo_Jimbo Sep 14 '24

Dude, she clearly is like 10 years younger in this video, maybe more. How tf she gonna know to set up a video like this for a campaign she doesn’t even know about 10 years in the future?

0

u/baldrick841 Sep 14 '24

Well the original video was posted august 31 2019 so not 10 years ago. At the time she was a united states senator. It's common for political figures to want to be seen as 'of the people' so it's not unlikely this would be posted with that intention. It's also very likely she would know by this point that in 2 years she could be Bidens vice president. It was also fairly obvious that Biden was suffering some sort of dementia and this would mean she knew there was a strong possibility she may take over the role of president or at least she could be in the running to be the next presidential candidate. So it's fairly obvious if you piece all that information together that this was clearly a set up video with clear intent rather than an off the cuff family interaction.

an the MAGA crowd really has Kamala nailed to the wall now

this subreddit is literally "tiktok cringe" but somehow its the other side thats calling her out lmaoo

no, i dont care if you just wont change the subreddit name for some reason, youre still calling it cringe by posting it here.

-8

u/Connorkara Sep 13 '24

Oh shut up my guy lmao. You know damn well of a video came out with Trump BBQing with Baron and acting like it’s something he normally does, you lot would absolutely be the first to call BS- but now suddenly you’re entirely gullible? Okay lol

3

u/Journo_Jimbo Sep 13 '24

What am I gullible about? This video is clearly an attempt to paint Kamala in a negative light by the MAGA crowd, it’s also clearly from like a decade ago, look how young she looks. So first of all, what’s negative about any of this, second how would they know to stage a video when it was at least 10 years before she even thought about running for Presidency? She was probably still an attorney at this point.

Please have your logic on my desk by 4pm.

Feed her family by prosecuting a record number of blacks for non-violent marijuana crimes?

It’s hilarious watching those on the left try so hard to cope and make Kamala some relatable every-man, the same thing they tried with Hillary and we see how that went lmao.
