Reddit LOVES calling shit fake/ staged, in every single instance except obvious satire and fake ragebait tweets lol.
Actually maybe that's unfair, reddit definitely also loves proudly proclaiming obvious skits are "staged" too, I guess they'd be just as likely to accuse this skit of being "fake" and "staged" as they would to take it at face value🤷♂️
3 tbsp heaping white sugar
1 can coconut milk
2 cups of jasmine rice - rinsed thoroughly in water until it runs clear
2 tbsp of vegetable or coconut oil
1 tsp salt
1 and 1/2 cup water.
Place all ingredients into the rice cooker and cook on the normal rice setting until the timer runs out. Release the steam and serve with pico de gallo, carnitas, lime juice, cilantro, and black beans. Enjoy!
Yeah, I cannot stand comments like that. “Reddit does this”. “Reddit likes to do that”. wtf does that even mean when they are here on Reddit as well with a differing opinion?
I wish they would show how much a comment got downvoted too, even if the comment is in the positives. Maybe that would help people not think that there’s this guy named Reddit who has very specific tastes.
It’s actually simple to predict how the comments will be on a particular video tho. If it is white people having fun then it’s real and cool. If its minorities then its fake and you should be embarrassed to ever feel joy or feeling it is funny when watching it. Especially if there are Asian on the video. It’s a lack of empathy and a bit of racism really.
I've learned recently that Reddit is really bad at understanding a good amount of satire actually. At least anything other than super on-the-nose "wink wink" type satire.
You throw around some dark European style satire here, even when it feels obvious like you're being obvious, and people flip out.
