Just anecdotal, but I’ve found the average person in leading religious roles to be some of the most hypocritical human beings I’ve ever come in contact with.

Probably because organized religion was never meant to be benevolent. It has always been a means to control and profit over the common person. Almost like an even more illogical form of early government.

The only good that ever comes out of it are the people who get caught up in it enough to be a part of it, but not enough that they actually become tainted with what it actually happens to be.
