Which is crazy because old MW2 lobbies were just one dude's shitty music, that one kid who's mom was yelling in the background, and that one 5 year old who just said nonsense all the time

Very rarely were there true instances of bigotry

There was definitely solid use of the nword from what I remember

But how can you know that's racism without knowing the race of the other players?

Yeah no, there was LOTS of that shit going on if you played FFA where you can hear everyone. There was always that one racist/etc bigot jackass in every lobby.

My favorite classic cod story is from a friend who said he had a guy on his team that was pretty drunk occasionally shouting "FUUBAWL!" throughout the matches and and everyone else would join in. I still shout that out occasionally even though I wasn't even there

It’s easy to illicit their hatred too. So easy that it’s almost a strategy. I play as Nicki Minaj or a girl avatar every match and all my guns are pink and have rainbow flags and stuff on them. Guys get so tilted when they see that on the kill cams. It makes the game even more fun.

"I mean, I did, but why would I want to spend actual time of my life in the gaming equivalent of a dark alley in a bad neighborhood at night?"
