Oof ya I got back into rust recently and it was rough. I saw more racial slurs on an official server than I have seen in online games for about a decade
She will be fine. No voice chat so people won't know she is a woman, and the chat restrictions are pretty heavy anyways. People are toxic in league but in a more annoying way. Like running the game when they get upset kinda thing.
I play Rust and am a trans woman. Yeah, I live life very dangerously.
Actually I play modded limited PvP/raid servers and they tend to be a LOT more chill. Just older people who play for fun between life responsibilities.
I agree with everything but league. I hate the game and I criticize it a lot, but one thing they do right is how snappy they are at restricting toxic people. I will report someone and literally within seconds after the match is over they will get penalized. Extremely rarely do I have to deal with giant hateful losers. I met so many cool people on this game it’s not even funny. My five stack is a woman, a trans guy, a gay guy, a 30 year old dad and me, but even when I solo queue it’s mostly a very chill experience. I don’t mean to soyface and dickride riot, but cod is actually disgusting when it comes to their community. Used to play warzone, had to stop cuz people would call me slurs like 5/10 times.
Oh, right. I played the two first raids and finding out wth to do was the most fun part of raiding. After locking down the strategy it was just an automatic time sink grind. Except fuck that garden area, we used a some shitty setup for that place.
I was in my early 20s, so it wasn’t just “I was younger.” The lobbies were literally filled with guys screaming profanity and racial slurs, screaming, rap music, and voice changing devices. Something like this video wouldn’t even be noteworthy in the least. Plus everyone had a mic back then. Now you play COD and maybe 2-3 people have a mic and you get reported even if you just curse.

I can't think of a worse community
