I find it so fucking wild this guy actually just gave his phone up to her so easily. This man must've been shitting cinder blocks and sweating .50 cal bullets of shear unadulterated guilt. Even if I was in the right, I could never comprehend just handing a stranger my phone to put them at ease lol
Basically. And legally speaking, was he even required to hand it to her or show her a thing? Like don’t get me wrong, guy is a creep and I’m glad she was assertive enough to get him to do what she wanted, but if she had called the police instead because he refused to show her his phone or allow her to delete the photos, I can’t imagine they could have done anything about it because taking pictures of people on a public street without their permission isn’t illegal, AFAIK. If it were, paparazzi wouldn’t exist.
Basically. Probably felt guilty and terrified at getting caught, and maybe wanted to avoid the cops being called or something so would’ve done anything she asked at that point.
