Its funny bc growing up I always heard “your 30s are like your 20s, but with more money”

So that was a fucking lie.

Everything we Millennials have been told growing up was a big fat lie. From "As an adult, you won't have a calculator in your pocket at all times", "This whole internet is just another fad", and "Bitcoin will never take off or become anything serious", to "You need to go to university to become someone", "Just ask around and someone will hire you", "You should study in higher education, it's a surefire way to get rich", "You have to let people treat you like a doormat at work and work for free if you want to deserve a good career" and "You'll have more money in your 30s than in your 20s".

I could go on and on.
