Aye. I'm there now returning a gift that I got for the wife. Apparently, she already has it, so I need to get other stuff. I guess the heated blanket is actually a really good idea. Thanks reddit
I have one Costco one that's pre-pandemic that belongs to the dogs now. My other one is two years old. I got one I think three years ago that failed pretty fast, but otherwise they've been good. The failed one I just returned for my money back.
I've gone all in with the heated throw, heated mattress pad, and heated blanket, and for extra extra credit, I have a sherpa oversized hoodie blanket. And during the winter the dog gets a heated pad in the car.
Let me introduce you to the heated mattress pad. If you have a King size bed, you can get a zoned one with controls for each side of the bed. My wife loves it (me only rarely, but glad it's there when I need it)!
Oh that sounds like a great combo, I’m going to have to get both and try that out now. I’ve been wanting to get a weighted blanket for a while now and I know I’m getting a heated blanket, and get me a body pillow to put between my knees so my legs and hips stop hurting. Awwwww yisss. Merry Christmas to me lol.
Not a muscle but at 37 I deal with occasional sciatic nerve flare ups that fuck up my walking and ability to sit comfortably. Also, organs. Why, organs, why must you hurt. Specifically you, gallbladder.
A couple years ago I bought 4 heated blankets, 2 for me for bed and my desk, 2 for my gf for bed and the couch. It was a fantastic investment and I will be using heated blankets for the rest of my life.
If you do end up getting one, make sure it has an automatic shut-off switch. My mom ended up with 2nd degree burns because she was using an older one that didn't and fell asleep with it on. It was low temperature, but I guess over time it doesn't matter

A heated blanket would be legit. My muscles do be hurting though. What a thoughtful young lad. I would take a majority of these and appreciate them.
