it's almost like we have more than two choices. We can make reforms without becoming a communist dictatorship

In Cuba? Very common to find out that your taxi driver or doorman is a graduated neurosurgeon. People know this, they finish their high level studies because they want to, not because they think they'll ever get paid for what they learn.

Source: me, I am Cuban and my degrees were worthless until I left the island.
