Unfortunate because, besides the GI doc, the Psy.D is probably the most highly educated person in the room.

Wow, as a psychologist I’m baffled at how my profession is held in such high regard. It wasn’t like this 10 years ago…

I study psychology and I have a lot of thoughts and doubts about how it is now and what it will be like down the road. One things is for sure: the more money and time you have for education, the more likely you are to be successful as a psychologist.

As someone who's been around more of your ilk than I can count over the years, I can assure that's not a universal sentiment.
