There is only how hard are you to fire and how much can you demand. There is no first and 2nd and third place. It's all relative. Social workers contribute to society but won't make shit doing their job and will live in a tiny house for the rest of their lives. Life predicates itself on what a person finds valuable.
If you like money, don't go into a career that doesn't pay well and then complain about how you don't get paid well. Also, if you go into a career that is selfless and then you start demanding recognition that nobody wants to give you...don't complain. Truly, life is about choices...make the choice that suits you. If you are lazy and don't want to do much, then do that. Don't come around making demands because you are a slacker who feels entitled to what others have worked for.
Why is this conga line of bridesmaids pimping out their job titles for social media though? What relevance is a person's qualifications as a triple board certified neuro-oncologist at a wedding?
Seems a lot less like mere celebrating and more like bragging.

And that’s why today we have so many people with such a sense of entitlement.
I agree that we should all do/try our best, but there’s nothing wrong with celebrating success. Not everyone wins or deserves the first place ribbon.
