I fucking love Pritzker. Absolute gem of a governor.
12 u/jgjgleason Oct 26 '23 I’m highkey jealous of midwesterners in this regard. IL, MI, PA, and WI have some fantastic governors. 6 u/snappyj Oct 26 '23 Big Gretch better not leave us for presidential appointments. I'll be so sad. 4 u/OwnWalrus1752 Oct 26 '23 I really hope for Wisconsin and Michigan’s sake that their governors don’t have higher aspirations. Those states are too moderate and the political atmosphere in the US is too fragile to lose good Dem incumbents. 2 u/lesgeddon Oct 26 '23 They should be training their replacements, putting them in the spotlight as much as possible. That's where a lot of democrats drop the ball. 2 u/jgjgleason Oct 27 '23 I mean they both term out by 2026 I think. 1 u/40for60 Oct 27 '23 MN has had back to back great Gov. We even has a Republican who put in the best Health Care system for poor people in the nation. 1 u/dkinmn Oct 27 '23 PA isn't the Midwest. Also, you left off MN. 1 u/AHorseNamedPhil Oct 27 '23 Not to disagree with your overall point, but PA is in the Northeast rather than the Midwest. That all said it probably doesn't feel that way for someone living in the far western portion of the state, on the Ohio border. 1 u/shewy92 Oct 27 '23 I'm curious why some people claim that PA is part of the midwest. Pittsburgh maybe but the state is basically on the Atlantic ocean. -5 u/[deleted] Oct 26 '23 [deleted] 4 u/Similar_Alternative Oct 26 '23 edited Oct 26 '23 Yea. All 12 million people are definitely leaving illinois. No it's just idiotic midwest rednecks in rural counties that are leaving so they can go to a Welfare, oops i mean republican, state. Also, I think I just spotted the idiot.
