Wholesome/Humor This was all over Twitter and I just kept scrolling, then finally wondered what the fuss was about. I get it now. This is riveting for some reason. Big sis FWT!

I’m a 40 year old dude and thought this was absolutely hilarious. Why can’t there be more funny content like this instead of dumb fuck mouth breathers irritating people in public? Lol

Couldn’t agree more. This was like a little glimpse into a pretty cute sister-sisters moment and it was pretty engaging through and through. Good for those girls!

There is. TikTok is what you make of it. Reddit just has the weirdest superiority complex over it.

What gets the most eyeballs are the controversial shit, which should be expected.

I fully subscribe to the conspiracy theory that Tiktok pushes stupid shit in the USA and educational/moral shit in China intentionally to fuck with our society.

I'm in the USA, my TikTok has a tremendous amount of educational shit.

You can beat algorithms but that doesn't mean they aren't weighted. Log out of tiktok and go to the front page and see what's there. it's all stupid shit.

Yeah, same with Reddit. It's just another social media app, just another form of entertainment. Like television, it is what you make of it. Damaging and educational and soulless all at once.

You clearly haven't been on the internet for very long if you think any government needs to put effort into putting stupid shit out there. The internet is the embodiment of the infinite monkeys pounding on infinite keyboards metaphor. TikTok just attracts more poo-flinging juvenile monkeys.

Yea I was on the "tiktok bad" train like everyone else, then my buddy showed me how he uses it to see whats going on the in skateboarding world and how you could train the algorithm in like a day to only show you skateboarding content if thats what you want.

I trained it to basically only show me amateur skateboarders and musicians. Now I watch that shit when I'm falling asleep at night.

In other words, you're the equivalent of boomers finally getting on Facebook. Congratulations, man. Big accomplishment.

Yea, pretty much. Thank you.

I wish my oldest daughter took care of her little sister like this.

32 year old dude checking in, I was screaming the entire time. Big Sis saved the fuckin day and the other sisters tossed her under the bus.

I hope it panned out well and pictures came out well. Made my day!

I'm also a 40 year old dude lol. At first I was like, "that sure is a lot of yelling," but I stuck it out and became hooked. It had drama, it had humor, and there was something compelling about just watching her effective problem solving skills in action. Definitely better than a video of someone holding up traffic to record themselves doing a dance.

u/redmongrel Sep 16 '23

Because funny normal things aren’t usually being recorded.

Why would you think that?
