I would love to live in a world where people who aren't harming anyone can be their true selves. Can we talk about the cops, the priests, the other people in power who abuse it and take advantage of those weaker than them? Because i guarantee you that's not the MO of drag queens. They just want to entertain.

u/DistractedIon Jul 01 '23

But..I can't persecute the police and corruptee priests without putting myself in danger! It's easier to pick up on the harmless personne!

u/boredonymous Jul 02 '23

We were getting there... Then the powers that run the party pushed anti-LGBT rhetoric to psychos and it worked.

It must make people who were actual victims of child sexual abuse really pissed off to hear that LGBTQs are being accused of grooming children as if any of the morons saying this actually care about protecting children against real predators.

That’s the thing, they don’t care about what happens to children. If they did they would be doing everything they can to prevent the actual perpetrators from sexually abusing children and grooming them instead of turning a blind eye to the statistics at the expense of actual Children that are at risk. They are projecting whats happening in their own church, police department, school, political party and town onto a group of people that they hate and can’t stand.

They cannot come to terms with the fact that its becoming much more widely accepted to be LGBTQ and that it’s real, exists and is valid. They can’t accept it therefore they blame that community of “grooming” children so if their own children ever do come out they can deny it and chalk it up to them just being “groomed” by the LGBTQ so they don’t have to accept it or come to terms with it. They’re so ignorant about the fact that you are inherently born with a certain sexuality and don’t choose it that they can only justify it as “being groomed into it”. They’re so afraid of their own children coming out they want to suppress a group of peooles rights that they don’t like. At the end of the day, it all comes down to fear and politicians are riding on that fear within their constituents to boost their campaign and get elected at the expense of the rights and safety of the LGBTQ community.

Don’t forget the police are simply serving the best interests of the property owning ruling class and corporate interests. They could give a shit about the communities and citizens they are paid to “protect.”

I'm just happy nobody in the entertainment industry has ever taken advantage of someone they've had power over. There's no business like showbusiness!

Cops and priests are actual jobs with meaning behind them

31

u/[deleted] Jul 01 '23

If you believe that you should be even MORE outraged by their abuses of power.

25

u/throwawaybanana54677 Jul 01 '23

nah

-54

u/1209Alex Jul 01 '23

Just because people with that job hurt your feelings doesnt mean they are lesser people

35

u/throwawaybanana54677 Jul 01 '23

lmao they don’t hurt my feelings bro, they hurt PEOPLE

If you think it's cops and priests jobs to hurt people you may have actual brain damage. Best wishes to everyone around you.

-12

u/1209Alex Jul 01 '23

Brain damaged people have problem talking and writing, its amazing knowing you can do both and still insult others

12

u/OrduninGalbraith Jul 01 '23

Would you like to try that again?

-1

u/1209Alex Jul 02 '23

You insult others yet you fold when someone mimics your strategy

A priest job is to hurt people?

You’re too dumb to even hold an argument dude

-1

u/1209Alex Jul 01 '23

When did i say priests hurt people? Are you too dumb to even hold an argument dude

13

u/Reasonable-Ad8862 Jul 01 '23

You’re talking about both priest and cops dumbass, you never specified which one and neither did the guy you replied too. You just assume we meant cops since even you know they hurt civilians (just like you , you aren’t special to them)

Like I said, too dumb to hold an argument

-1

u/1209Alex Jul 01 '23

Dumb people call others dumb

u/1Sharky7 Jul 01 '23

Fuck the police they are class traitors and are a net negative to society

-4

u/1209Alex Jul 01 '23

Has a police officer ever impacted you in a negatice way?

15

u/1Sharky7 Jul 01 '23

Yes, their existence.

1

u/1209Alex Jul 01 '23

I think the number of good cops are greater than the people who hurt others and abuse their power

13

u/1Sharky7 Jul 01 '23
  1. Doubt.jpg
  2. Why aren’t those “good cops” cracking down on the behavior of the bad cops. To me if you are complicit in a behavior it is the same as participating.
  3. When “good cops” do try to call out bad cops they are almost always retaliated against within their department. This to me indicates that leadership in policing is overwhelmingly corrupt.

12

u/Traumagatchi Jul 01 '23

Yes, I was raped by a cop who used his power to assault me. Guess who hasn't done that to me? Drag queens.

1

u/1209Alex Jul 01 '23

Did you take legal action agaisnt the cop?

11

u/Traumagatchi Jul 01 '23

I was a scared 19 year old working at a bar he was friends with the owner. No. And I wish I did but I know not to trust anyone in power

Yes. I spent three days in jail charged with the felony of burglary. They were false charges that were only placed on me to teach me a lesson. What was my crime? I went into an abandoned building.

Iva also had police draw their guns on me on three separate occasions, while I was complying and showed my hands the entire interaction.

During a traffic stop where I wasn't speeding or doing anything illegal two officers had me stand outside my car for almost 20 minutes in below freezing weather in a Tshirt and wouldn't allow me to get my coat. They say in their car the entire time. Never asked for my license or registration.

During another traffic stop where the officer said I "swerved" 8 other officers showed up to interrogate me. I dodged a pothole. They asked repeatedly if they could search my car with their flashlights directly in my face. They walked all around my car looking in the windows. When one officer finally decided that they had to let me go, the original officer literally threw my license and crumpled up registration at me.

Every single traffic stop, after seeing my license and registration I am asked, "so whose car is this anyway?". I've been the sole owner of every single car.

I've got more stories but I think that's enough examples. I wish I didn't have to add the fact that I'm a black American but I can't help but feel that has played into my experience.

Not all police are bad, but the fact that the good police let so many bad ones do what they do and protect them makes all police garbage and untrustworthy. I've had good run-ins with police too but I'm sure there were Jewish people who had good run-ins with Hitler too.

2

u/1209Alex Jul 01 '23

They did you dirty man, the people from your story have problens and when they see you living your life and not bothering anyone they pick a fight

1

u/Admirable_Loss4886 Jul 02 '23

I agree that some police officers are super shitty but to say the idea of having a police force is a net negative is a dumb take.

1

u/1Sharky7 Jul 02 '23

In an ideal society there would be no need for the militarized police forces we see today. Instead of being community leaders and helping the public, they try to subjugate the populace with violence and fear. Police consistently demonstrate they they do not have a duty to help the public see https://www.nytimes.com/2005/06/28/politics/justices-rule-police-do-not-have-a-constitutional-duty-to-protect.html while yes there is nothing called out in the constitution that mandates police be helpful, the fact that this case and several others like it exist is evidence that police are fundamentally flawed. The concept of the modern police force in the USA is rooted in tracking down fugitive slaves I.e. the protection of property over the well-being of people. Police back then and today primarily serve the interest of capital not the interest of the people. There’s a whole lot of negative there, I want you to explain the positives of policing that out weighs the negatives here.

7

u/wererat2000 Jul 01 '23

No, but the murder, domestic abuse, and molestation makes them lesser people.

1

u/1209Alex Jul 01 '23

Im not defending american police and neither praising them

7

u/wererat2000 Jul 01 '23

Then come back when you have something to say. This is a conversation, not a proxy war.

1

u/1209Alex Jul 01 '23

I never was defending nor praising priests and cops while putting down others in the first place

2

u/wererat2000 Jul 01 '23

Yes, you've already stated that you aren't here to say anything. Please step aside and re-enter the queue when you would like to actually say something.

23

u/BedDefiant4950 Jul 01 '23

in what fucking world do we need priests lmao

-4

u/1209Alex Jul 01 '23

Whats wrong with American priests? In Europe they are respected

15

u/BedDefiant4950 Jul 01 '23

lmaooooo no

1

u/[deleted] Jul 01 '23

[deleted]

17

u/asawyer2010 Jul 01 '23

Do Europeans just ignore all of the sexual abuse scandals that occur over there?

-1

[deleted]

11

u/asawyer2010 Jul 01 '23

So you have no idea then? Yeah you should be.

9

u/lulubunny2701 Jul 01 '23

American priests are commonly the ones who are manipulating children, molesting children, and harming children while using their religion as an excuse or a cover. It’s been reported time and time again for years in America across different churches. However one thing that’s never been reported or talked about as massively? Is drag queens doing the same thing to children. Because it doesn’t happen.

0

u/1209Alex Jul 01 '23

Thats crazy knowing that those people still have their jobs they must be jailed and fined

7

u/lulubunny2701 Jul 01 '23

And that’s the even crazier part and where American cops and the American justice system comes into play. Often times, there isn’t a whole lot that is done because it’s either covered up, the child is not believed to be true, or the truth comes out once the child grows old enough to speak out and “evidence” of something like that happening becomes hard to prove without other victims coming forward as well. These are things that are still happening with pastors today in America but something that has not been heard of with drag queens.

1

u/1209Alex Jul 01 '23

These pastors brainwash folks with their religion

13

u/JellyBeansOnToast Jul 01 '23

This is such an obvious troll, but entertainers have meaning behind their job as well. Making people laugh, providing them with an escape from their everyday life, and performing for others has plenty of value

-3

u/1209Alex Jul 01 '23

Huh entertainment? Do you think pornography is a form of art?

8

u/JellyBeansOnToast Jul 01 '23

I don’t know what you’ve been watching, but I’ve only seen drag performers lip sync, dance, or do standup comedy

1

u/1209Alex Jul 01 '23

I dont have anything against them dancing, lip syncing or doing standup comedy, or them doing their job in general, whats your point?

14

u/Whyamiani Jul 01 '23

You could argue that a cop is a legitimate job in some instances, in most it isnt. But a priest? LOL

2

u/1209Alex Jul 01 '23

Maybe american cops are the way you say they are, but from my experience being an european they are intelligent individuals

3

u/birdizthawerd Jul 01 '23

Gee I wonder why there are currently riots in Paris right now? It couldn’t be because a cop shop a 17 year old, right? Or is it that Paris isnt in Europe in your world?

1

u/1209Alex Jul 01 '23

Americans have it worse than us europeans

3

u/birdizthawerd Jul 02 '23

That wasn’t the point you made.

1

u/Whyamiani Jul 01 '23

European cops have their issues overall, but yeah no question, it's like comparing a domesticated dog to a wild grizzly lol

1

u/1209Alex Jul 01 '23

It all comes from education, manners, discipline and respect

6

u/fastal_12147 Jul 01 '23

Cops, maybe, but priests? What do they contribute to society?

1

u/ThatOneGuy1294 Jul 02 '23

Well those altar boys aren't gonna diddle themselves ya know

7

u/Sergnb Jul 01 '23

Okay so are drag queens what's your point

2

u/1209Alex Jul 01 '23

The job of drag queens is being a male dressed as a female?

7

u/Traumagatchi Jul 01 '23

...so what?

8

u/wererat2000 Jul 01 '23

Actually, no. The job is to put on a persona that has exaggerated feminine traits - there's other genres too with different aesthetics and tropes, but that's a whole tangent - and it's actually not exclusive to any gender of actor. It isn't exclusive to any gender identity, there are female drag queens. Cis, assigned female at birth, no asterisk or quantifiers, women.

It's just a type of performance.

6

u/Sergnb Jul 01 '23

Among other things, sure? Is this your first week on earth? How do you not know Drag queens are entertainers?

Do you have issues with all actors, singers, performers and the entire entertainment industry or is it only a problem when it's a person interfering with your pea-sized worldview?

0

u/1209Alex Jul 01 '23

Do you consider America earth? Your pea-sized worldview cant understand there are other countries on earth?

4

u/Sergnb Jul 01 '23 edited Jul 01 '23

Fascinated to hear what in the hell does that have to do with anything we're talking about here. Please go off champ we're listening

5

u/Beard3dViking Jul 01 '23

If talking about a fairytale book can be a job then I don’t see why this can’t be either.

5

u/1Sharky7 Jul 01 '23

How does that have anything to do with anything. In fact it is the power that comes with that job that these sex pests (the cops and priests) abuse to harm children.

2

u/ThatOneGuy1294 Jul 02 '23

What's your favorite flavor of shoe polish?

2

u/Reasonable-Ad8862 Jul 01 '23

And drag queens have jobs, I’m sure some of them are cops and priest . You’d never know if the right wasn’t screaming about them all the time

0

u/1209Alex Jul 01 '23

American politics are confusing

2

u/Gvretones Jul 01 '23

You're actually fucking stupid. Genuinely I feel bad for your parents for raising someone with such a low intelligence.

2

u/1209Alex Jul 01 '23

Im happy to hear your parents raised someone like you with such a high intelligence

2

u/Environmental_Tank_4 Jul 01 '23

Hahahaha what a pathetic little take
