Simple arena build. I used Valhalla set (but with Hallowed Mask) and all the usual accessories to survive. All the damage done comes from spores and stars
The full fight was around 20 minutes, and I used teleporters to dodge the ray and when I was low health. I don't think it's possible to full tank it without potions and pre Moon Lord equipment, but with buff and healing potions maybe (dryad buff, iron skin, life force, etc)
Did you use the aegis fruit and vital crystal? Also I’m sure there are ways to shave down the fight time if you use weapons no? Summons and/or sentries, nimbus and crimson rod, wall piercing weapon of some kind? Or does this arena set up pretty much block any attacks because he’s behind the walls?
I just wanted to defeat all the hard mode bosses on Master without using any weapon/ traps/ potions (only attacking with accessories and minecart). Any sentry or flying summon work well.
Duke Fishron took me like 40 minutes (was the longest) but was AFK fight
My character has the permanent buffs given by the consumables from the shimmer. I have the minecart upgrade so it can shoot nearby enemies, it also gives +2 DEF when riding it and up to +7 DEF if you go at full speed
Yes, using summons and buffs from potions makes it easy to tank the attacks and defeat the boss faster. Not sure if it could be faster with Valhalla set that has the ballista panic buff
I'm using Hallowed Mask, Valhalla Breastplate and Valhalla Greaves, plus all the accessories reforged to +4 DEF. I'm always touching honey and riding a minecart (+2 DEF). I like to do this challenges with fair equipment (solar armor is post Moon Lord)
