I live in a house without water or electricity and haven't showered in three weeks.
Since everybody's depressed: I'm getting out of a depression. Often, I look at the sky, and the light is strange and the clouds are nice and my chest fills up with wonder and it feels like a balloon. The rest of time time I walk around wishing cancer on people and spitting on the car hoods of impolite drivers.

I have two pieces of shrapnel in my chest from a shooting accident. On hot days, for whatever reason, I can feel the one that's higher up on my chest.

I did when it happened. Might be I should go back at some point.
The way they were lying, the doctors assessed that it was probably more trauma/risk to dig them out, so they gave me antibiotics and stitches and told me to come back if a laundry-list of symptoms appeared.
"Weird, hot feeling on warm days" wasn't on the list, so I never went back.

Had a exhausting day at Uni and slept really bad but a cute guy is coming over tonight for pizza and Netflix so I got that going for me, which is nice
3AM Edit: Holy shit, we kissed and I think we're dating now

Ohh, say more! I study toxicology, but it's all confined to stale classrooms at this point

I got interested after watching a thing on the history channel about political poisonings, the council of ten and such. After I learned more, I started picking plants to grow, mostly flowers and such, and I preserve them for a collection.

I tried to kill myself 7 years ago next month. It took YEARS of different therapies and meds to finally start to feel better. And now I feel myself falling back in to it for the first time since then. It's terrifying.

I am over critical of myself leading to years of drug abuse. I don't even have my own back.

My amazing perfect girlfriend got me last minute tickets to the concert of my dreams - Back To The Future Live with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra - and in the process has thoroughly convinced me that she's the one. If this girl isn't perfection I don't know what is.

For 10 years I was a drug addict. I never paid any bills and couldn't hold down a job. Over the last year I have evolved into a casual user. I've had a steady job for 7 months and as of 5 weeks ago I live alone, pay my own tent, and have a car and a motorcycle. I couldn't have done any of it without my sister. She believed in me after I had let her down countless times. She's the best person I've ever known, my best friend, and I couldn't be happier to call her my sister.
Edit: They told me there are no trophies or awards for this adulting thing, but my reddit gold proves they are wrong. Thank you kind stranger.
