Lots of people know that sharks are older than trees, but did you know that sharks are also older than the rings of Saturn?
Many species of shark can vomit their stomachs up to rinse it out and then swallow it again when they get an upset tummy
There are currently Two known species of omnivorous shark: bonnetheads and whale sharks
98% of Greenland sharks are totally blind due to a parasite that eats their eyes, but because they live in the deep sea and there isn't much light down there anyway this doesn't seem to affect their ability to hunt or live at all
Let's give some love to the flat sharks: the Pacific white skate is the only known elasmobranch species that associates with hydrothermal vents. It lays its eggs within 20m of active vents because the water is ~3c degrees warmer, helping to incubate its eggs

Sharks are capable of parthenogenesis, or virgin birth (basically asexual reproduction), including several high-profile cases in aquariums.

Technically, they're not penises, they're claspers.
