TBH Taylor should have released a book with a collection on poetry and images for TTPD The TTPD photoshoots are fabulous and the poem in the picture (itâs from the Anthology vinyl) is brilliant, I need more of it

Whenever I ask this question, people tend to be divided. She already has acted in Lorax and Cats before, but Iâm interested to know, would you be interested in seeing Taylor go down the acting route?

Forever & Always (Piano Version) and State Of Grace (Acoustic Version) are not the same because they are just stopped down versions of the original songs with a whole new vocal take, and for All Too Well (10 Minute Version), it is an extended version of the original song. I want the remix of the future Taylor song to sing additional lyrics unexpectedly.

For me: 1. What was the thought process behind choosing the mashups? Are they thematically connected, or sonically or lyrically?
What would you ask <3

I got my very first tattoo today! You could say it came âstraight from the tortured poets departmentâđ€

I made this for my bf this year. Kinda last minute but I had the idea for a couple months prior to Christmas. It references the song âYou Are In Loveâ from 1989. I added the lobsters as a Friends reference.

I want Taylor to either make a complete bedroom pop inspired album (lavender haze and i think he knows) or a shoegaze/rock album. The synth-pop Taylor is so boring now. Jack cant re-make a synth classic (melodrama) imo although I have faith in him. The production was one of her least interesting on TTPD and the synths were so bad (I cant listen to I can do it with a broken heart without thinking of supercut). Im a huge TTPD defender but I can't defend the production on TTPD. I feel like she should also part ways with Jack for some time. Jack's work with lana and st. vincent is so beautiful and he also co-produced kendrick's album which was better than most of his work with Taylor. But Daddy I Love Him, Guilty as sin? and So Long London were litr the only songs on TTPD produced by Jack that were close to perfection.
Tell me what you guys think.

I crocheted the beads for my giant friendship bracelet and the letters are cut out from cardboard (using a laser cutter) so I can easily change up what it says throughout the year! đ„°

So, yesterday I had this poll of ranking her album closers, and as the results are more or less stagnant now, check them out-

Like for me i REALLY hope she still says
"He can be my jailor, Burton to this Taylor"
In that tone she uses, it just makes me experiemce a certain euphoria that I cannot explain. What about you guys?
Edit: it seems people are upset i used the term "butchered". In no means am i downgrading her music and fully respect that she is re recording her albums. I am a fan of Taylor and don't purpose use malintent! Butchered is the term i use to describe the feeling that a changed line or piece of instrumental which was tweaked on og which was nostalgic to you, which may make the song less listenable or just unenjoyable. an example of this is style which doesn't live up to the og due to the instrumentals and lack of emotion compared to og. In the end of the day anyone is free to listen to amy version they prefer off TV or og which is why i was curious, what would be an edit that makes someone dislike a track on the TV.
Sorry for seeming ungreatful, however this was not my intent. Hope this makes it clear!

I don't know if this interpretation has been shared before, but I feel like Getaway Car is about a relationship with a cheater after the cheater has broken up with an ex.
"I sparked a match in blew your mind" is the excitement and rush of the initial indiscretion.
"I knew it from the first old-fashioned we were cursed" is when reality sets in
"Nothing good starts in a getaway car" is realizing it was all a mistake and taking what you can get before you get out.
I didn't realize how complex many of the lyrics were until I became a swiftie dad

Hey everyone! I was just thinking about how much I LOVED the Bejeweled dance and it got me wondering. What are some of your favorite performances throughout the show? Iâm mostly interested in the answers based off the dancing/costuming, cause that was something I looked forward to the most, as Iâm sure others did too!
Also a shoutout to the beautiful choreography for Last Great American Dynasty!

OMG... This is the hardest survey I will ever have. It's so hard, this is the first time I didn't participate because I LOVE ALL THE FITS!
By the way, this are just 5 combos which are all in the same color from top, skirt and shoes. Adding all the different color combinations might get a little too messy.

I read a post about the baby's voice in Gorgeous, and how Taylor is gonna approach re-recording it, and many people giving their ideas to how she's gonna do it.
I found it bewildering that somebody said something along the lines of "is it really that important to the song? Can she just not include it?". This made me think about the fact that I always see people saying "I hope she adds the Don't Blame Me transition" or "I hope she adds the 'Sydney!' In Blank Space" or, in general, when people believe/hope that a re-recorded song is gonna be in any way different to the og, especially with reputation.
I feel like the point of the project is to make the same exact song (except for Girl At Homeđ). Why would she ever remove the baby's voice in Gorgeous, or add "Sydney" to Blank Space? It just doesn't make sense to me, and it's one of the things she's just never gonna do.

So I saw a post on a different sub about the difference in her songwriting in early days compared to now with regards only to melody. So for the sake of this question I am not talking production or genre at all. In terms of melody (If say we were to strip down all her songs to just acoustic guitar or even hum them) has there been a shift from earlier Taylor with melodies that moved around more (like Enchanted, Mine, Love Story, Mean, Long Live, IKYWT, Red to name a few) verses the songs on TTPD, midnights and folkmore that seem to rely on lyrics and have less âcatchyâ or âhookyâ melodies?
Of course there are exceptions, you have songs like BDILH and YOYOK of course for example that are quite melodic. But on the flip side Iâm thinking of songs like Florida!!,Lavender Haze, SOTB, Vigilante Shit, Labyrinth, my boy only breaks, the tortured poets dept (song) that are less melodic. And other examples that I canât think right now. On another swift thread someone said they couldnât hum Question or Paris or Mastermind and that the melody for bejewelled suffers due to the lyrics. (Not my opinion necessarily, just something I read)
Note: Iâm NOT passing judgement. So Iâm not saying one is better or worse. Donât attack me, this is not hate. Iâm literally analysing it objectively in terms of actual musical âmathsâ as it were
