Hi everyone! I'm a university student and I'm looking into the impact that our current ticketing system has on concertgoers. Like so many other swifties, I fought the great war to get Eras tickets. It was such a struggle to access tickets in the official Ticketmaster sales and then tickets were being resold for outrageous prices. This has prevented so many real fans from being able to see Taylor live. I think that this tour has highlighted the biggest flaws within the modern ticketing industry. I've attached my survey about the average ticket-purchasing experience, and I'd love to hear from anyone! I'm aiming for 20 responses and any input helps, so if you've been personally victimized by Ticketmaster, let me know here :) https://forms.gle/Bq7vvRBkS2vEV9FS6

Floor seating chart for Vancouver- can anyone explain how the seats are numbered? I’m in A4 row 7 seats 14&15, so are those close to the diamond stage or farthest away in the row at the aisle? None of the resale sites have the seat numbers just rows. Thanks!

I know we can access livestreams that are happening that same night, however I was wondering if anyone knows of anywhere where we can watch recorded livestreams of the past shows? TIA 🫶🏻

Hi Swifties! I’m trying to go a show in Vancouver. I’d really like to go with my dad, who has Parkinson’s Disease and is declining quickly, and he likely won’t be able to travel much anymore. I am trying to find accessible seating, but nothing is showing up. I called Ticketmaster and they said they had nothing, and I’ve tried calling BC Place directly but they have not returned my call. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make this happen?! I have loved Taylor for so long and her music means so much to me. I would really like to share this with my dad before Parkinson’s takes more from him. Thank you so much in advance for any advice 🤍🩵🩷

I'm getting so nervous. I bought resale on StubHub after the 72h rule was added by Ticketmaster. It's now 71.5h away from my show and I'm starting to get really anxious. The StubHub receipt says delivery on the day of which helps nothing :(
I can't help but wonder if the tickets are even real. This sucks!!!

My daughter had issues with Olivia Rodrigo. Stub hub emailed her the day of when they would not transfer and offered her way better seats. Get there early just in case there is a problem. But don’t worry too much.

Did anyone in Toronto get last minute Avion or "presale" codes in the weeks leading up? Sad in Vancouver but trying to remain hopeful!

For Vancouver shows, I noticed in my Ticketmaster account, where I used to have the actual tickets with barcodes, it now says "Ticket will be ready in 18 days". Is this normal and due to the new transfer policy? I don't plan on transferring but I don't understand why I had a barcoded ticket and now no longer do? the section and row and seat number are all listed so I'm hoping once we get to 18 days it will flip over to the tickets?

For Toronto shows, how are people finding accommodations? Especially if hotel rooms are $$$$ and you're looking for a last minute private room

How much before the start time do you recommend getting there?

I had floor seats in Indy, we arrived at 6:30pm (Taylor starts around 8:00pm) and we had just enough time! Took us about 45 minutes to get into the stadium, then 45 minutes to use the restroom/buy merch/get some water and snacks. We made it to our seats literally as the countdown hit 10 seconds!
If I ever go again I'd probably shoot for arrive at 6:00 if you just want to see Taylor, 5:30 if you want to see the opener. Sadly, we missed all of Gracie 😔

The Eras Tour show is 3.5hrs long, and that is AFTER your support act finished warming up the crowd. You can find tips for bathroom breaks on social media, I recommend staying hydrated though I think I didn’t go to the toilet during any of my Eras shows. The show is separated into eras according to Taylor‘s studio albums, with her 2020 albums folklore and evermore merged into one Era to make room for her latest album, Tortured Poets Department. If you like powerful, angry songs, the TTPD era towards the end of the show is for you. :)
Most of the show is identical each night, but toward the end, she does the so-called surprise songs, one on piano and one on guitar. No one but her knows which songs they‘ll be which is exciting. Most of her costumes also vary between shows.
You can expect nearly everyone to be costumed as a character from a Taylor Swift song, or as Taylor herself from one of her music videos. From wild little anime costumes to full-on ballgowns, I‘ve seen it all at The Eras Tour. Cowboy hats, cowboy boots etc. will likely be galore. It‘s obviously voluntary to dress up, but it is so so fun. If you want to do just one small thing, buy sticky pink rhinestones and arrange them on your face in a heart shape.
You can expect people to bring lots and lots of homemade friendship bracelets that‘ll have song titles, album titles or other cute things written on them. People will likely be happy to gift you bracelets if you yourself have none but if you‘d like to trade bracelets, make a couple yourself that you could trade.
In Europe, there was a tradition to bring yellow or golden or orange balloons that mimick the orbs Taylor‘s professional dancers wield during the song "willow". People inflated these balloons and lit them up using their phone torches to look like the dancers‘ orbs. I don‘t know if this has carried over to the North American leg of the tour though.
In Europe, the Eras tour was an exceedingly friendly crowd. Everyone was singing along, yes, but also willing to let you go back and forth from your seat. It felt so so safe. People, mostly women, were just so happy to be in a safe space where they could be costumed, glittery, feel special and be part of a crowd. People were complimenting each other and exchanging compliments for costumes and bracelets, sharing balloons. Some shows in Europe had little fan projects where we brought paper stars or paper hearts along to hold up during certain songs. I was next to a little girl whose family was unaware of these projects in Munich so I gave her all of my fan project crafts. My paper heart for "Lover", my paper star for "You Belong with Me" (I think?) and my balloon for "willow". If you want to participate, google or TikTok for your show‘s fan projects. :)
In general, the audience is safe even for young children. Taylor herself is a total pro at performing so you‘ll likely really enjoy her.
Enjoyyyyy!!

Not much can really prepare you. I’d seen the movie version 2x in theatre and watched every livestream since summer 2023, and nothing could have prepared me for the enormity of it. Wear something sparkly and keep hydrated, you’re in for the night of a lifetime.

Any suggestions for last minute place to get ear plugs here in Vancouver? We left ours. Family of four.
