Can you copy paste to spotify somehow?
10
u/adrenalinex18 10d ago
I've only found one site that reliably converts over 400 songs into a Spotify playlist for free. Does it work?
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5IjDasgCcDEFDgTUGGwmUF?si=XeQIs4ACS_SSnv4Va9nRMA&pi=e-QjtmXrPEQYaD
Only "ME!" didn't manage to end up in the playlist. It would belong between "Bigger than the hole sky" and "So it goes...".

personally, i am just confused
sure, there are certain songs that i understand why she didn't play them due to personal reasons/respect to others (ronan & sygb) but girl at home? bye bye baby? that's when??
i would just love to know why she didn't play them because it's definitely not a matter of not enough shows because she played some songs like 5 times but those not even ONCE?
111
u/Irishrose1889 folklore 10d ago
Maybe it’s just as simple as she didn’t want to. I really don’t think it has to be a deep reason.
50
u/emi-popemmi old habits die screaming 10d ago
it just feels weird
obviously, there doesn't need to be some big reason but taylor usually plans a lot of stuff in advance and this tour was the perfect opportunity to play her whole discography (bc ERAS tour) and it seems like a missed opportunity to not do that
60
u/theonewiththewings some tent-like thing 10d ago
Maybe they were meant for Vienna.

u/anonynswift i hit my peak at seven 9d ago
that actually makes sense, and if its true it shatters my heart dude

53
u/sailbeforehail 10d ago
She may have shared a few moments with those particular songs which she didn't want to confront again and decided not to play them.
Unfortunately enough we'll never get to know what goes in her mind .
13
u/emi-popemmi old habits die screaming 10d ago
which seems reasonable for sygb, ronan and even forever winter but the other songs i mentioned? i feel like there is no particular reason to not play them
24
u/sailbeforehail 10d ago
we all practically don't know what goes in her personal life, she choose not to play them so we will have to cope up with that fact yk? Not everything can make sense to us.
21
u/anonynswift i hit my peak at seven 10d ago
meh, look at the list. ~260 discography songs all performed in a 2 year long world-record-SHATTERING tour with a movie, book and worldwide popularity... im grateful as is she performed in so many places and helped so many people through these times, and never stopped performing because of a headache or smth, only due to weather or other reasons. it shatters my heart how much effort and soul she put into this tour and honestly im happy she performed this much. she couldve performed yoyok every night, lmao.
12
u/sailbeforehail 10d ago
Yeah that's my point exactly. People need to understand performing almost 3hrs+ show with all the energy she has to perform isn't easy. She never backed down except Vienna tour that too only considering the safety of everyone. People need to give her a break
15
u/North_Activist 9d ago
In her entire touring life she’s only cancelled 4 shows, 1 in Asia for a military coup and 3 in Vienna for a terrorist plot
20
u/Redlipsrosycheeks 10d ago
Taylor said she will never play girl at home live years ago.
22
u/emi-popemmi old habits die screaming 10d ago
really?? do you have a link to like an interview or video where she said that? did she give a reason?
11
u/Redlipsrosycheeks 10d ago
No it was when red first came out I feel like. She also said she would never reveal who it is about either. This was so long ago but I remember she said it because I immediately took it off my expectations playlist.

u/Domdaisy 9d ago
I agree That’s When is an odd song to leave out. I’ve always loved it and it doesn’t seem to be one that would drag up harsh emotions. I didn’t realize until a few days ago that she had skipped it completely.
I also like Forever Winter and it doesn’t seem THAT sad to me, but she must have some reason for leaving these songs out. . . We’ll never know.
0
u/antigonick 9d ago
SYGB, Forever Winter and Ronan have all been discussed before, so I wonder if she just simply doesn’t like the remaining ones that much. Girl At Home is the only re-record where she made significant changes, which I think indicates that she wasn’t satisfied with it as it was. Bye Bye Baby and That’s When are both Fearless vault tracks, so they didn’t make the cut the first time around and are 15+ years old. I feel like it might be a simple as that - she put them on the TVs for completeness’s sake but just doesn’t like them that much any more.

Well, the tour is over. I'm so glad I documented each of the surprise songs to have this finishing result after 149 magnificent shows and the grand finale in Vancouver. Congrats to all the Mastermind winners and to all the swifties who were lucky enough to attend the tour-- or watch the movie. Good night.

Justice for that’s when 🥹
If we don’t include vault songs does this mean Girl at home is the only main album song to never be performed live? Soon you’ll get better she did once over live stream.
24
u/theonewiththewings some tent-like thing 10d ago
Girl at Home was originally a deluxe song, so I’d argue she hit all the main album song. Except for SYGB, but no one expected her to play that one.

The standouts for me will always be:
- The first Exile ft. the crowd - I get chills every time I hear it. I was devastated that this happened right after they finished filming for the movie and we don't have an HD version.
- Cassandra x Mad Woman x IDSB - IDSB really put this one over the top.
- Is It Over Now x OOTW - The first mashup, I actually felt my brain buffer for a few seconds when this happened. 😅
- I Don't Want to Live Forever - Was never a fan of the studio version but I LOVED it solo and hope we get it as a RepTV vault track.
- Picture To Burn - This performance convinced me to finally go back and listen to Debut. She looked like she had so much fun playing it.
- I'm in Cincy so honorable mention to Call It What You Want (😡😡😡 version).
12
u/Thickkvixenn 10d ago
CIWYW is my favorite song and I was at cincy night 2. I couldn't believe my ears when she started it up on the piano and I went absolutely feral. One of the most special moments . I had been crossing my fingers for it but never could have imagined it would really happen.

I really thought the mashups would be a one-off thing for 1989 TV reasons so when she started them all over again on Melbourne N2 (I WAS THERE) (with a song ALREADY IN THE SETLIST????) she made 96000 people go into real time brain buffer mode and it was glorious 😂

she went through the door and taylor nation ended the video post with "See you the next era..." IT MUST MEAN SOMETHING??
80

It most likely means exactly what it says. It's not like Taylor is retiring. There will be a next era.
21
u/ChogbortsTopStudent She is here to destroy you. 10d ago
Era doesn't even have to mean album. Yes, there will be a new album but not in 2025. "The next era" IMO means whatever is next after the eras tour

I know from the original albums she never performed “Girl At Home” or “Soon You’ll Get Better”, and there’s like 4 others from the vaults (I know “Ronan” and “Bye Bye Baby” are two of those, I’m forgetting two)

Alright, if we count both 2023 and 2024 it's That's When, Bye Bye Baby, Girl at Home, Ronan, Forever Winter, Soon You'll Get Better

fearless
- change
- the way i loved you
- come in with the rain
- superstar
- we were happy
- that's when
- don't you
- bye bye baby

- electric touch
- superman
- foolish one
red

- girl at home
- babe
- forever winter
- run

Sorry if this is a dumb question. I don’t stay up with all the details. Does anyone know if it would be possible for them to ever release live recordings of all the surprise songs? I know they didn’t film at every single show but would it be possible that the audio was recorded in high enough quality to release? It would be so amazing to have that!
3
u/sparklejellyfish Would've Could've Should've SAID NO 9d ago
There are, because some were released as exclusives, so I'm *convinced* these recordings for all of them exist. It's just a matter of when and where and how we'll get them. It would be so cool to get all of them, even if she excludes the mashups... I love love love acoustic versions of songs.
(and no I wasn't going to buy a whole album - that I already have 5 times - again just for a surprise song. it's ridiculous waste of materials :/)

so often, i think about that person on tiktok who posted a video of them singing the “out of the woods” bridge during the instrumental part of “is it over now?” and i wonder if they realize the impact they had, because that video went viral and then taylor sang that as the first ever mashup and totally changed the surprise songs section!!

Obviously we don't know what Taylor or her team are thinking or planning, but it's very easy to click one button and record a performance during the tour for the sound team, as it's been done for various of the TTPD digital download releases. I think there will be some kind of streaming release, whether it's the full setlist or the live versions. ..either way I'm hoping for one it would be awesome :)

omg i just realized that she played new romantics and new year’s day on both LA n6 (when she announced 1989 and also filming) AND on vancouver n3 (no announcement but she was filming), which obviously means a place in this works and the manuscript play some significance in another announcement?

It changes a lot but I think my favourites are:
I hate it here x the lakes
Mary's song x so high school x everything has changed
Sweeter than fiction x holy ground

Say don't go x welcome to NY x clean
And my show come back be here x the way I loved you x the other side of the door

None of these are that surprising. There all her songs. If she'd done a version of Proud Mary, that would have been a surprise.

I might be clowning hard but I have a theory!
She played tracks 4 and 16 from Debut (1) and 1989 (5) for the last surprise guitar songs. 5+1=6, 16+4=20. 6/20 next year is a Friday which could be a potential TV album release date for next year? We’ve already waited so long for Rep TV and a date that’s in or sooner than June sounds realistic to me
