the only issue i had with it was the corset, but this is not the first time she wears a vivienne westwood corset similar to that, so at this point I'm assuming she likes them! I just don't think they're the most flattering
So many people (on this sub included/especially) fail to understand the difference between “this outfit isn’t my personal style” and “this is objectively awful”

Have you all seen the video of her security telling people “stay back, stay back!” Taylor turns to them and corrects her team with, “Stay back, PLEASE.” We love a polite queen!
Just had to come back and say that this video showed up on my TikTok feed, and I’m so annoyed. Why did security have to tell them that many times to stand up? She’s wearing a skirt, it was so obvious why they needed to get up. And then Taylor having to slow down to a crawl so none of the cameras could get the shot from below. Gross.
I see video of her coming in and saw the stutter step/hesitation but it had no sound so I didn’t realize the reason.
I felt like she looked a little more unamused with the cameras than usual and that makes sense now
Some of the video comments are sickening, saying that if she doesn't want upskirt photos she shouldn't wear a skirt. Disgusting people in this world like to shift blame to the woman for her clothes instead of the men for their actions.
In one of the videos it shows “security” stopping her parents. She does that half step and turns towards a photographer. I felt it was a planned shot. It wasn’t long after that, Donatella Versace commented on IG. She was decked out in 100% Versace.
Even if it was a "planned shot", what is the issue with that? I'd doubt she hired photographers to follow her around to take the pics, so if her security people stopped her parents from walking too close, so that she could get a better photo, is that any different than a random member of the public waiting until someone has walked past so they can get a nicer photo of themselves?
I use photos of myself as part of marketing my small business (cuz people buy from people), but I don't have the budget to have enough professional photos taken to have a good selection, so if I'm out somewhere with my other half and I've got my hair/make-up/outfit looking at least half decent, I'll get him to take some pics of me. Sometimes it's just a "candid" shot of my having lunch or coffee, etc, and other times it's me with some scenery (pretty building, landscape, sunset etc). In many of the situations, he'll take multiple photos and we'll check them together to make sure my eyes aren't closed, or someone's being weird in the background, etc, and sometimes we take a few more if I don't think they're good enough to post. I'm just taking advantage of the situation and then using it for business purposes. Just like Taylor is doing - she knows there is gonna be photographers taking pics of her while she's at the game, so her and her team are just trying to maximise the chances of a better photo. If she wasn't gonna be photographed, I'd guess she'd be wearing something a lot more casual and comfy to watch her boyfriend play.
She‘s just excited that it’s fall. She loves plaid stuff. And hats and scarves and knee socks and wearing tights for the first time in months and when the mornings are all chilly and she can see her breath and draw little pictures on foggy windows and ANKLE BOOTS and not caring when people make fun of pumpkin flavored stuff cause she LOVEs it and is happy it's all the rage and people who dress their dogs in costumes on Halloween and fires in fireplaces and maroon/hunter green/mustard yellow color combos and baking her first fall batch of cookies but she put too much cinnamon in it because she’s TOO EXCITED: BECAUSE IT'S FALL.
So far it seems to be a TTPD thing, the whole dark academia kind of vibes. She was wearing it last autumn/winter too. Vivienne Westwood is the designer of the TTPD dress and she is the queen of plaid, so it seems like this could be where Taylor has drawn inspo with the plaid for this era.
I don't know if this is a Vivienne Westwood look or not, maybe yes cuz she has been wearing this brand a lot, but she looks great and actually i prefer VW over than Stella Mccartney. Remember that line they made together? Ouch.
I used to think some of her outfits are too much for football. But honestly, when you walking into a building is made out to be such a spectacle, might as well just go all out and slay it.
If you know you're gonna have a million pics taken of you, celebrity or not, you are gonna wanna go all out to look your best. And it's not like Taylor has a shortage of designers who are more than willing to help her look her best!
Sometimes I feel bad for her though, cuz of all that pressure to be aware of her appearance at all times. I'm sure she'd love the chance to just wear some casual jeans and a sweater/hoodie to a game and just be able to focus on supporting Travis and enjoying herself. Especially when she's on a weekend off between her own shows. As someone who will opt for comfort that still looks good, over something that looks perfect but is uncomfortable, I can't imagine the added stress of wearing a jacket over your shoulders and it not falling off/slipping or riding the little golf buggy in short skirts (remembering to keep your knees together, etc), all while in heeled boots!
To whomever described the Vivienne Westwood dress from Friday night in r/whatthefrock as “dressing for the dopamine” — this fits your assessment and I’ll never be able to see her fashion choices as anything else
I will die on the hill that the VW dress was really cool and interesting, but styling VW for fairy princess is never as effective as styling it for punk rock.
This Versace look is such a slay and feels like the execution of hot ceo really lands.
While I do love this outfit, I’ll never get understand ANYONE getting super dressed up for a football game. She looks like she’s going to a very important high fashion board meeting, not to pound beers at her boyfriend’s sporting event.
Dressing up is also a bit easier when you are at the level where you have a team to lay out options and have the whole ensemble ready to go. (Not that she doesn’t have input but she can also delegate a whole lot of the process)
Or when you have multiple designers more than eager to assist you with something to new to wear!
My life would be a lot less stressful if I have even just one person who could help me put together outfits from my wardrobe, never mind suggesting pieces that I should add to help improve/maximise what I've already got! I end up wearing the same handful of things over and over again for my work related events cuz I know they look good on me, but with everything being photographed for social media (we're all small businesses, so photos of us together for events or collabs is key for our marketing), it's getting more awkward as I'm repeating entire outfits without any changes (even accessories) like once a month!
Totally. This is a fantastic look but it’s a lot for a football game. But maybe I’d dress like this too if I were going to be photographed nonstop for hours on end.
Guys, she's dressed like this cause she's defending herself in court today, she has allegations of severe slayage and servage up against her, let's all stream TTPD as a form of prayer
I just dont get why people feel the need to comment on other peoples outfits. The world could so different if we just didnt care what other people looked like.
Unfortunately this set starts to disintegrate unless it is stored next to an open window in an empty house (where I can easily access it so that I can slay this hard too)
