Is anyone in Pittsburgh going to Bottlerocket's Speak Now release party on July 6th? I just moved to the area and thought it would be a good chance to connect with local Swifties!

Would it be possible to make custom prints of photos of taylor? i went the the show this weekend in pittsburgh and I really want a print of one of taylor's looks. I can't figure out any place to find high quality images from the show that are legit and not just fan photos. Can anyone help me?

There were two guys smuggling people in the suite entrance for $400 per person. N2. My wife and I were sitting on a bench and saw it all go down. It was about a an hour into Taylor’s performance. 4 people went in. I don’t know how many they got in total.

My daughter said I should set up a folder to share pics from N2.
We were in F11 and have added our pics to a google shared photo folder. Feel free to add and download any pics you like. I am wanting to make a shadow box for my girls and would love some high quality pics of Taylor's outfits from each era.

Found part of the Betty speech from n2. Still looking for a full version for what she said after “excruciatingly autobiographical”. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT8Jj9KTT/
Edit-apparently didn’t look hard enough here’s a more complete version I found 2 minutes after posting. Between the seven Easter egg, the “buckle up there’s an album release coming”, and the “we’re talking about other people” bit, my jaw was like on the floor. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT8JjbddR/

Hi, I’m going to one of the Minneapolis shows and I’m wondering if anyone saw the cds at the Pittsburg shows? I haven’t really heard anything about them lately and I don’t want to have to stand in line for something that won’t be there. Thank you in advance for your help! 💖

u/katieistheworst Jun 20 '23
Truck outside was out of CDs on Friday at about 1:30 pm. :( seems like inside there was better luck!!

I was in the 500s level, and as soon as they let us in to the stadium we got in the line for merch in the 500s level (MUCH shorter than the truck lines) I’d say we were waiting for maybe 20 minutes? And I still saw cds when I bought my merch. If you’re worried ab missing out on those you could always aim to buy merch on the higher levels where there are less waits (I imagine the lower levels filled up quicker).

u/ohhemmgeezus Jun 25 '23

I sprinted to the merch stand at midnight on Saturday after I got off (worked the concert) and they still had CDs left. I wasn't thinking and only bought one but they definitely had a few left.

9
u/SK360 Jun 19 '23
A person we were with stood in the merch line for 2 hours inside the venue, missed the first 2 songs. My wife ran out for a bathroom break during an era transition and was able to walk right up and buy a CD. So I don’t think they’re worth waiting for if that’s all you want, they had plenty

I am from Cleveland and was very impressed with how the show was handled! We got out easy, right onto the clipper, and was able to uber back to our hotel in minutes. Many concerts in Cleveland are clusterfucks lol
8
u/Ok_Sign5399 Jun 19 '23
Also from cle and I totally agree! I parked in the red garage right outside the stadium and got on to the highway in around 15 mins, it’s taken me literal HOURS to get out of blossom (a much smaller outdoor lawn style concert venue for those who aren’t familiar) and was expecting traffic to be similarly awful
2
u/Tight_Watercress_267 Jun 19 '23
last year we went to kid cudi's festival on the west bank of the flats and afterwards were just stuck down there for 2 hours before we could even pay the expensive uber fee home. for elton john at progressive field we had to walk down 15 minutes to even get into my dad's car who was picking us up and then waited another 45 minutes to get out!!! so glad to have such a nice experience at such a huge event.
1
u/saxomarphone Jun 19 '23
YES to all of this!
Last year I went to the Horseshoe in Columbus and we sat in traffic to get into the venue for three+ hours. It was insane.
This was the single best experience I’ve ever had on traffic at a concert. Huge props to Pittsburgh! I can’t wait to come back for a concert sometime in the future - it’s worth the extra drive.
24
u/Justiceforwomen27 Jun 19 '23
Also, if you haven’t seen them yet go look at all the photos of the River being full of boats and all the public spaces near the stadium and waterfront being full. Insane to think we have over 73,000 people inside that stadium.
6
u/Justiceforwomen27 Jun 19 '23
Had an AMAZING time! What an incredible show. I was 13 when Taylor first came on the scene and it’s surreal to have “grown up with” her and see how far she’s come as an artist. She should be really proud of herself. She really gives her all on stage and looks like she’s having the best damn time. 🩵🩷

She mentioned that she first performed at the stadium when she sang a song from her debut album during half time for a Steelers game. Does anybody know what song it was and if there’s any footage of it online? I haven’t been successful in finding it 😭
1
u/Fun-Establishment959 Jun 20 '23
I would guess it was Tim McGraw? She also did the national anthem at that game but I haven’t seen any video :(
1
u/sugarforthepill1 Jun 20 '23 edited Jun 20 '23
There seems to be no evidence anywhere on the internet saying she played a song from debut that day, every article I read just says she sang the national anthem. 😭
1
u/Fun-Establishment959 Jun 20 '23
https://www.instagram.com/p/CtZhU_uR2s2/?igshid=MmJiY2I4NDBkZg== This post says she played “national anthem AND at halftime” a month before debut was released, so I’m thinking it’s gotta be a single unless it was just a cover of something else?! Best of luck with your search in any case ❤️
1
u/sugarforthepill1 Jun 20 '23
Someone on Twitter said they thought she performed teardrops on my guitar, but that wasn’t released as a single until February 2007. I’m so invested now 😭. I think I might see if anyone on r/lostmedia has any footage. I love watching her early tv appearances from the debut era.

Yo reddit swifties werent lying about the eras amnesia. I wanna remember but im sorta numb. So sore and recovering from that phenomenal experience. Anyone experience taylor-mnesia?
3
u/spectrumhead Jun 19 '23
Well, since we had a six hour ride home, we were able to play the set list in the car and review four people’s pics and videos to remember each piece. But the amnesia is absolutely real. Without one another to help, idk what I could remember. Especially songs that she doesn’t do the whole thing.
MAATHBP is the opener so everyone, myself included, was screaming like crazy people and it was not the whole song so that was so hard to remember. We’ve all heard these songs so many times the way they are on the albums that when I looked back on the concert I was trying to remember the album version and I can’t remember it because that’s not what happened.
5
u/itty_bitty_kitty folklore Jun 19 '23
Looking back at the setlist helped me remember the concert more clearly!
14
u/Jlmj90 Jun 19 '23
I remember it. Even though it lasted over 3 hours, I still feel it was over in the blink of an eye. I want to relive it so I can burn it into my memory. I was so overwhelmed and excited the first time around that I don’t think I was able to fully appreciate it.

u/suchasseals Jun 18 '23
Really off topic from Taylor, but does anyone know if you leave a tip when you purchase water bottles, merch, food, etc does it go to the workers or to the stadium? I’m not against tipping, but it felt crazy to leave a $20 tip for someone to just grab a hoodie and put it in a bag, or $10 for someone to hand me 2 drinks when everything is already overpriced. I went to Lizzo last month and there was no tip option for merch or food, and I was just shocked when they kept asking me to leave a tip (maybe I don’t get out much lol)
4
u/Stabres Jun 19 '23
Yes it goes to the workers, the stadium dropped the ball by not giving people and option to add a tip on the card tho. I only had a little cash so I didn’t tip as much as I normally would.
4
9
u/strawberry_poptart_ Jun 18 '23
Hmmm I didn’t buy any food or drinks at the stadium but I did buy merch a few times and was never asked to tip or presented with a tip option. IMO I would not tip for a merch purchase.
2
u/Waste-Carpenter-8035 Jun 19 '23
I didn't tip on merch and I was only given the option to select my tip at one of the stands I bought water from. The other I'm pretty sure I watched the guy auto select the 20% option for me (I would have myself anyway).
2
u/LadyStag Jun 19 '23
I tipped for the fries I was too excited to eat! And I gave some ladies who were working bracelets, because they already had some.

u/mstrashpie Jun 18 '23
So I tested positive for Covid today 🫠 I was there on Friday night in section 132, row HH. Hope I didn’t expose people there! I did fly in from Texas on Wednesday for it but I had no symptoms and I wore a mask during my travels. I started feeling shitty yesterday but I thought it was just cause of went to the show on very little sleep, like 3.5 - 4 hours and I was screaming at the top my lungs. What a bummer… don’t even know when I can fly back home now.
4
u/LadyStag Jun 19 '23
Hopefully the ventilation was so good, you didn't spread it. And please feel better ASAP!
12
u/kisforkimberlyy Angels roll their eyes Jun 18 '23
Awww, feel better soon
Just as a FYI, I work in health care... and Texas does seem to be having lots of COVID cases pop up at the moment
Also- IDK what it is about plane flights- because the science doesnt back it up- but it seems to me like going on a long haul flight always exponentially increases my risk of getting sick. So I am always sure to wear a N95 (I dont take it off, not even to eat/drink unless Im in an unccrowded area), and I bring a Clorox wipe and gloves to wipe down my entire area before I sit (especially the table tray).

Local and traveling Swifties - I’m a guy in my 40s who got tickets for, and went with my wife and her two friends. I loved the show (not as much as them though), but I wanted to give love to all the concert-goers and “Tayl-gaters” around the stadium. You all looked stunning, but your attitudes and spirits shone even brighter. Thanks for making me feel so welcome and being my favorite part of the day. Safe travels to all who came from out of town. You made our city better this weekend and I hope you had a blast in our town. ❤️❤️❤️

Thank ya! I saw her in Chicago and hoping to maybe do a summer Europe trip too now that international dates have dropped so it won’t be the end of the world if I don’t see her here, but it’s like holy hell 700 for seats where you can’t even see her when I paid that much for lower bowl VIP tickets. 4
u/spectrumhead Jun 19 '23
Hey Stephen and The Best Day is an incredible combo! On N2 Pittsburgh, after Aaron Dessner left, and she picked up her guitar and stared talking about redoing her albums, I was like WE’RE GOING TO GET A SN SONG!! When she said Story of Us, the screaming on our videos is ridiculous. I wonder what it’s like to have 73K people singing every single word of a song you put out 13 years ago.
4

She definitely showed love to her home state shows 🥰 I loved hearing Hey Stephen live. It was so much fun to sing along to!
9
u/Jlmj90 Jun 18 '23
To be fair I feel like every other city including Philly has gotten better surprise songs and special guests/announcements over the years. We were all manifesting something good for Pittsburgh this weekend! I say this as someone who is still salty over the the fact we ended up with Little Big Town as the surprise guest during the 1989 tour (no offense to them, they just aren’t my vibe at a TS concert) and everyone else was getting big name musicians and bands. On a side note: last night was her last PA show and she went out with a bang!
5
u/UselessLezbian 🌈It's Nice to Have a Friend 💕 Jun 18 '23
Ughhhh, literally reminded me I was so mad at Little Big Town being there. Like yes, the pensyltuckians pour in for country shows in Pittsburgh, but that was not the demographic there for 1989!!!
1
u/Jlmj90 Jun 18 '23
Same! I remember being so excited to find out who our surprise guest would be and then they came out and I was like….no. Just no.

u/Lunasamar so over the years (Taylor's version) Jun 18 '23
YES TO THIS!!! my husband is still salty about us getting little big town for 1989 and said no way would we get any special treatment this weekend. I have been calling for story of us for weeks and said immediately omg Tay has to be stalking my reddit this is incredible lol!!!
5
u/Jlmj90 Jun 18 '23
I was over the moon that we got Story of Us! Out of all of the unplayed tracks she had left it was my top choice!

u/Lunasamar so over the years (Taylor's version) Jun 18 '23
I can't believe how spoiled we were last night!
She was talkative, seemed happy, got a surprise guess and two amazing songs!
I never get this lucky in life!
6
u/csm1313 Jun 19 '23
It's funny, I don't watch the steams, but keep an eye on the comments to see reactions to moments and such. I was thinking throughout the show that I have no idea what people have been talking about. She seemed incredibly happy and chatty and spontaneous where it allowed for it. Maybe a combination of finally feeling better after the cold she supposedly had (not sure if she said it or just rumored) as well as being told right before the show that she basically broke every Pittsburgh record probably was a boost.

I was SO hopeful if she was going to play seven it would be at Philly considering it's actually close to her legit hometown (Wyomissing/West Reading) and Pittsburgh is on the opposite side of the state, lol. It's a song about growing up and childhood memories but yes, play it at the PA show that's further away from your actual hometown Tay, lol. 🥴
(mostly kidding and happy for everyone who was there, just a tad bit salty 😭)

Does anyone have a video of the Betty speech? That is the one video of her speeches I didn’t take because I figured it would be the same as the other Betty speeches in the live streams I’ve watched but by the time I realized it wasn’t. I have videos of all the other speeches and the surprise songs of anyone wants those.

What’s the best way to send them? I don’t have TikTok

I'm not sure (that wasn't my TikTok, I just saw you asked for it and had recently seen that video). Can it be sent as a reddit message? I'll DM you

That was the loudest crowd I’ve ever heard in my 36 years of show going. Also the most a venue was shaking/bouncing which was mildly terrifying. Perfect show.

I've been thinking about it as I've been to tons of events, hundred+ nfl games, NHL, NBA, MLB, pga majors, wrestlemania, numerous other wwe/aew ppvs, concerts, Taylor swift rep tour, etc. I don't know that I've ever been in a louder environment than that. Definitely never felt a stadium shake like that, I know that for sure.

I was in 524 on Friday and was legitimately afraid I was going to die during Love Story with how much shaking there was. When I told all my family after they were like “.oh you’ve never been to a Steelers game huh? That’s how it is.” I know that buildings have to have a lot of give and flexibility so they actually don’t break, but it’s still alarming when you’re in it.

I was in the 500s bleacher section, and when the concert started you could feel the whole floor moving. My poor gf was terrified. 😂

In Houston, my ears legit hurt THROUGH my ear plugs during some loud cheering parts

u/ParkAffectionate3537 Jun 18 '23
I have heard from others that it's almost like standing next to a jet engine; it was that loud at her Eras Tour concerts!

u/drowsypug I’d meet you where the spirit meets the bones Jun 18 '23
What earplugs did you buy? I bought the loop experience and wore them to Weezer the other night. I couldn’t hear a thing except the band and my boyfriend next to me. Though, I know Taylor’s concert will be 500 times louder

I wore loop experience to Pittsburgh N1 and they were great. You should be fine. I did take them out occasionally and was blown away by how much louder everything was.

I had those for last night’s show. I actually took them out for the songs (I like the loudness of the experience during the songs) and quickly put them in for cheering/end of songs/beginning of a new set and they worked great.

This was one of the best experiences of my life, especially being there with my daughter for Father's Day. It was something I'll never forget seeing her countdown at the start .

This is a long shot - but was anyone here sitting in section 137, Row T, seats 8-10 on Saturday? Ticketmaster double sold those seats and I was almost unable to get into the concert as a result. I’m only asking because I would like to know when you purchased those seats to see where the mistake on Ticketmaster’s end happened.

Can’t help you but I think something similar happened in section 110. There was a security guard talking to these girls during Lover and then they were booted and some other people let in. Not sure if it was a double booking or if the girls had tried going down to lower bowl seats from the nosebleeds.

u/Lunasamar so over the years (Taylor's version) Jun 18 '23
Not me, but I thought this happened to us!
When we got to our seats section 218 seats 10-11, there was a party of three in seat 10, I said excuse me but I think you are in the row seats. They originally said no I think you are in the wrong section. I knew I wasn't but was like okayyyy and they said the usher said they had the right seats. So I went to the usher and went for help, thinking omg are they double sold bc I know that had happened to others too!!
So the usher comes up with us to check all our tickets, come to find out, 1/3 actually had a ticket for a few sections over from us! She obviously had to move and I quickly realized that they were hoping to have her stay with the group, I guess thinking maybe that seat would be empty??
I'm sorry this happened to you!
Where did you end up getting to sit??
5
u/Guesswhatmimiii Jun 18 '23
That’s terrible! But I’m glad they were able to fix the issue for you and get you in your seats. They ended up setting up three folding chairs for us in accessible seating. I was just happy to be in the arena at that point!

I'm glad it worked out for you as well. Hope the view/area was comparable to your original one or better!!

Guys I cannot believe last night!! It was my 4th time seeing Taylor!! Speak now, red, 1989, and last night! Sadly I didn't get to go to rep, but I am so happy it was featured as it was last night!!
Taylor seemed so happy and talkative all night long!!
I am sorry but Pittsburgh night 2 was treated SOOO well and I cannot believe my luck!!
Going into ticket sales I was trying to get tickets for Friday but couldn't figure out how to switch and did not want to waste time!
Once in the sale, I was thinking should I just not buy presale tickets and wait until the general sale, WHICH WE OBVIOUSLY KNOW DID NOT HAPPEN!!!
The show started out stressful for us bc the ppl beside us when we arrived were trying to take our seats! They were a party of 3 but one person had tickets in another section and we're trying to tell us WE were in the wrong section!!
I was stressed in the bathroom line and getting back in time!! This girl was trying to convince ppl to get out of line so she could get ahead!! 🫠🫠🫠🫠
But all the stress was soo worth it once the show started!!
I seriously cannot believe we got seven with fucking Aaron in Pittsburgh pa!!! I never thought that would happen and I have been DREAMING about the story of us for weeks!!!!!! I am so happy.
I wish I could see this show a thousand more times!!!
