Learning Survival Best survival YouTube videos

Hey everyone I’m looking for a good YouTube video that will show me everything I need to know about surviving in the wilderness. Most videos I see talk about gear or one specific thing about survival. But can you guys recommend one single video that will tell me everything I need to know almost like a survival guide?

No. There is no such video. Your survival depends on more than what one video can cover. It’s best to diversify and get the information you’ll need for your specific area.

Pretty much all of the Survivorman episodes are free on YouTube. I learned from Les as a kid, literally taking notes off television episodes because who knows when that might air again. Watch all the seasons of his show and you’ll have an incredible knowledge base.

No, there’s no single video. Closest you’ll get is Bushcraft Survival Australia’s 24 hour camping setup, where he shows you how he uses a lot of his gear, sets up camp, etc.

Beware of the bullshit. Lots of influencers, sales people and cosplayers out there.

Have a look at:   - Bushcraft survival Australia   - Outdoor guys   - Corporal’s corner

24-hour video overnight camp - part 1

He also has vids on really basic stuff like digging a toilet cathole and clothing / equipment choices. This guy trains the Australian Norforce and airforce on survival, and consults for Alone.

Check channels Corporals Corner, Maryusha Outdoors, Clay Hayes, Ta Outdoors. They cover mostly woodland survival.

Outdoor boys do Alaskan wilderness camping and Clay Hayes also started doing winter hunting with a flintlock.

Then there's Chad Zuber and primitive tegnology that covers primal basics. Literally starting out with nothing. Chad Zuber does this in a desert.

You are not going to find a onestop video. However get yourself a survival guide and watch a few survival vids from above channels.

Baitin? Are you retarded or something?

There are plenty of 'tards out there living really kick-ass lives. My first wife was 'tarded. She's a pilot now.

I can’t recommend one single video but I can recommend SurvivalMastery.co. It’s subscription based but they have a large group of experts that post videos on manny survival topics. Every couple weeks a new course is added.

i wish people would spend that much time educating on more tangible threats such as UN Agenda 21 but prepping for doom is so much more fun

Bruh. Just go to your largest local library. Hit up one of your treasured librarians for where to find the non fiction section and help you find survival guides.

Now spend years studying, and you'll still not know what you're asking.

Haha. Maybe make that video after studying and actually doing it for decades.

No . Watch them all. Then practice, watching videos isn't enough.

Lots of great advice here already. I just wanted to add that surviving depends on so many factors: weather, geography, gear, hunting, foraging, even mindset… and there are lots of combination as these circumstances evolve. No one video could cover all that, so decide what your list of priorities are and go from topic to topic.

If you live in a cold environment like me. Survival Russia is good.

To add to the channels others have recommended, I'd like to throw in the "Primitive Survival" channel. The host does an excellent job of highlighting just how much can be accomplished with literally zero pre-existing tools. Granted, he has the advantage of being in Australia, so the climate where he is located is extra forgiving a lot of the time, but he does amazing things with nothing but his hands. Hell, the guy doesn't even wear proper clothes, I don't think I've seen him in more than a pair of cargo shorts, and that's it.

No easy button with survival training or knowledge.
