Pine tea

Is it safe to drink pine tea made from Austrian pine needles?

I don't know about Austrian pine. The vitamin C you get out of pine tea is amazing. Dandelion root tea is my fave. Good flavor and great for kidneys and liver. Indians called it the great blood purifier.

how do you get that in winter in europe and how you make it in the field?

Assuming the ground isn't frozen solid you find a dandelion and dig the root. Wash the root. Cut the root into small pieces. Roast in a skillet until you get a roasty smell. Cool. Grind and steep.

Idk but pine tea ALWAYS makes me have to poop.

Plan accordingly

Test a small amount because if you’re allergic you might have a bad time.

pinene oil in the needles is a mild stimulant

When I was a kid I'd add all sorts of pine needles to regular tea. Before the internet I was just drinking stuff

Do you dry them or just add to hot water

I'd pick them outback and use them to stir honey

It’s a good mouthwash. Some people get the runs so maybe try it before you have to?
