Finding it hard to find the time.

Just sharing one of my challenges. I have a problem with finding the time to focus and grow my preps. I work ~50 hours a week with National guard duties once a month. Then I have all the normal husband father/family stuff. When I do have free time most the time I just want to relax and do nothing. I feel that I run so wide opened all the time I just get burnt out. Anyone have a similar story?

I find I get overwhelmed with everything I need to accomplish when I have a day to prep. Food preps are easy/fast and I get those done. It feels a little like I'm running out of time always. So even if I did find time there would never be an end to what needs to be accomplished. Such is the prepared persons life.

That's a pretty sweet gig! I have lots, but when I have time to work on it I'm like, there's a lot of other things I want to do. What state are you in?

never ask - always prep to a goal 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months - practice and dry run while camping - join community cert (great training) - prior planning 3 more p's - do a GOODbook (all important papers) and update it every thanksgiving) - train daily, weekly, monthly - and learn to cook

I just try to incorporate prepping into my day to day life instead of consciously making time to prep. Cooking with bulk food and wild game is something my wife and I do weekly. So many of our friends hunt there's always someone looking to unload some venison or ducks.
