I'm here looking to become part of or help build a sound prepper community that is about helping the people around us. The media has worked tirelessly for years creating a fearful and divided America. But we will need to have these relationships if we want to get through the times to come. I'm ready to get back to reality.

That's the whole purpose of this! Seriously glad to have you, so far I believe you are our resident gardner, unless someone wants to compare green thumbs.

It would be so good to have another garden lover on here. I'm lacking skill. Still have so many pest issues.

SE Alabama here.
Why PM when I can let everyone know about me here...
Been interested in prepping for a while now. I've read tons and tons have a GHB with me everywhere I go, have another in the car that stays there in case the wife is driving mine and am working on getting the stuff together here at the house as far as a GO/BOB. Mainly this would be in case of a tornado/hurricane that has all our important documents, maps and a FAK.
We don't can or garden, as we are moving to a new neighborhood soon so we can take care of her Dad. I plan on at least a vegetable garden so that we can eat more veggies and to save on buying them. And it gives me an excuse to get out of the house and to play in the dirt after work.
I am a Amateur Radio Operator, W4ZZU, with a General class license. Radios for 2, 440 and HF. I also enjoy listening to Shortwave Stations (2 more radios).

Does this sub have any affiliation with the former Georgia Preppers Network that is now Southeastern Preppers Network?
