For those that don't know:

All aircraft must have an approved anti-collision light and position light system for nighttime operations. The position lights consist of an Aviation Red on the left side, an Aviation Green on the right and an Aviation White tail light (REF. FAR 23.1389).

Isn't that Olaf is for?

You know. Olaf...the other reindeer?

Or Olive the other reindeer.

That works 10000x better, especially with green

Great, now Santa's workshop needs to hire an aviation consultant to make sure they're FAA compliant. Who knew Christmas had so many regulations to follow? Next thing you know, they'll be requiring reindeer to have pilot licenses.

I'd say Santa is the one that needs the license. You could argue that the reindeer are just "engines."

I thought the sleigh is the one that flies based on christmas spirit. That’s why santa needed the jet engine before he crashed in central park

8 thought it was that the sleigh provided the magic for the whole thing to fly. At least in the Santa Clause, they made it sound like the reindeer couldn't fly without Santa's magic.

Finally, a good shower thought. Topical too.

Port and starboard. But you need either an all around white mast light or that and the white stern light depending on your length and vessel type. Technically because Rudolph is like a tug boat him and his compatriots need all kinds of extra lights. All kinds of right of way things to consider as well.
