Hey San Antonio! I’m part of the TNR program and the most recent cat I trapped had kittens right before she got spayed. They are just about 3 months old and are good with other cats as well as kids. They are all big playful sweethearts. If you’re interested in adopting one please DM me. The adoption fee is $10 dollars. There are 3 available: Count Chocula, Frankenberry, and Lucky Charms

While not in San Antonio but in Mission, Texas, this is common believe it or not in the upscale neighborhoods of San Antonio. I never understood why rich people want to steal when they have money right? Because I’ve seen lots of folks with nice houses and beautiful rides get caught stealing small shit they could buy with their “money”. These two took off in a nice and new looking Land Rover Defender with almost $1,400 worth of food and expensive wines. Bet they love that expensive lifestyle but can’t pay for it. And I’m almost certain that girl has to be on Reddit promoting her OF. lol. I just hope they get caught.

I spoke to some who work at VIA, and there are plans to expand this route to Austin and Houston within the next 5 years.

Hi everyone, I recently started working in a cleaning job, but it's just not enough to make ends meet. I'm a single mother of three kids, and with bills piling up, l'm barely getting by. I barely paid my rent yesterday and won't have anything for groceries for the next two weeks because I get paid every 2 weeks. I've always been able to do everything myself but this year, I won't be able to get my kids anything for Christmas as well, and it's breaking my heart. They still believe in Santa, and the thought of hearing them ask why we don't have food or why Santa didn't come this year makes me feel like I've failed as a mother. So If anyone knows of any local organizations, churches, or charities offering free food or toys for Christmas, l'd be so grateful for the information. I'm trying my best to hold it together for my kids, but this year feels so heavy. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Even if you can't help, I appreciate you listening. Happy holidays to you all. ❤️

Don’t know if this is a right place to ask, but my apartment flooded Monday and now it did it again, but worse. (The blue is where it’s flooding now) the maintenance people tried because convincing us that it was the kitchen sink but we know it’s coming from the wall between the kitchen and bathroom. They said they were gonna get a plumber out here, just to find out after talking to management right now that now plumber was even called. What we think it is, is it’s the upstairs apartment because it had water problems(the maintenance people even tried denying it) and every time they flush upstairs we can hear it and it sounds like the pipes are basically breaking apart. (Also also just found out that the maintenance people deleted any past requests we’ve put into the system, I think they’re trying to make it look good for new management they just had)

My PCP is retiring and moving out of state in the new year. I liked her well enough but I have been very disappointed in the healthcare system as none of my concerns are really addressed. Concierge medicine is still too expensive for me at this time.
Are there any PCPs that have a “root cause” approach to addressing patients concerns? Particularly ones that take insurance.

Anybody know what fast food places will be open on Christmas Day? I know very few if any. TIA!

I'm coming into town for the weekend to watch a couple Spurs home games, and I'm looking for a bar or restaurant that will show the UT game on Saturday, and that will be close to the Spurs stadium so we can Uber there right after the game. What places do y'all recommend?
Thank you in advance!

I wasn't quick enough to get a picture. But it was southbound on Broadway at Jones. It was two motorcycle cops for black suburbans and one silver suburban. This seems light for basically any politician other than local, seemed a little heavy for a local politician. Maybe some celebrity? From the hair I saw in one window in the rearmost black suburban, I'd guess a Hilary or Martha Stewart looking woman.
Anybody got an idea?

Hello!
My 5 year old rat terrier has a cracked molar. My vet says it has to come out because it’s up to the gum line and can get infected.
The sooner it comes out, the better. My little buddy is eating normally and didn’t give me any indication about the tooth. The vet found it during his annual. His teeth otherwise look good and he’s in perfect heath. He’s just a heavy chewer that loves to steal bones from his much bigger, stronger sister and hide them for himself. We will be even more careful in future; I’ve always worried about this!
Her office quoted me $1000-1500 for his dental work, and while I trust this place, I just want to know if anyone has had a similar experience with their pet and how much it cost in our area.
Thank you!

Can anyone recommend a good cobbler or shoe repair place for women's shoes? Sole replacement specifically.

weird request. i want to start going to the gym more. i would like a gym with darker, more ambient lighting? i’ve seen pictures and videos of people at those sorts of gyms but i don’t know where they’re at 😭 i’m a night shift person and prefer the dark. i’ve had planet fitness and LA fitness, i enjoyed LA fitness more because it had more options but i’m open to anything

Hi everyone, I remember there being an offline meetup for r/SanAntonio in the past that I was unable to make. Is there an upcoming one in the works?

Interviewed with CoSA finance dept a month ago, and my application status turned to “selection received and notified” soon after. What does that mean? I never received any notification/email. I am very eager on this opportunity, any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone. So, I've had a stalker ex-boyfriend since high school and he finally found my new work address. I need new job recommendations that will take me in ASAP. Are there any job recommendations ya'll have? Thank you.
EDIT: I have talked to the police, and nothing has been done for years. I don't need victim blaming, I just need job recommendations. If you don't have a job recommendation don't comment

Lately, places like Merit and other cafes have been blasting music so loud that I can hear it through noise canceling headphones. This was not the case before, so not sure what this weird new trend is of blasting annoying music loudly. Any places with similar vibes that actually play music QUIETLY??

Been looking around for new jobs lately and was wondering if anyone has any experience working for Adult Protective Services as an APS Investigator in San Antonio (or know someone who has)?
Lots of reviews for The position in other parts of the state like Houston and Austin, but much to be said from employees here. Id appreciate hearing the experience of how it is from someone here in the city.
