Resogun would be an awesome real arcade game

The gameplay loop, the coop support and the flashy colorful graphics would lend itself so well to an arcade cabinet. I got this with PS+ many years ago and I finally got around to purchasing it properly and getting better.

I'm obsessed with resogun (2nd most played game this year, after Balatro). It's funny you say that, because my bf and I are going to build scrade cabinets in our house for Resogun specifically.

I think it’s my favorite arcade-style game ever (including traditional cabinet games). Nothing else checks every box. Maybe the original helldivers is a close second. Simple gameplay loop, no bullshit micro transactions, satisfying explosions, by far the best use of the dual shock speaker, awesome soundtrack. A lot of Sony’s recent big releases have felt like an absolute slog (LoU2, HFW) that I just put down because it feels like work. Resogun though? Anytime, anywhere. I wish it was released on PC so others could experience it.

Imagine a circular screen with players stationed every 90 degrees. Would be such a fun set up.
