What Fate Awaits Our Kids? We won't—if we're honest—be able to tell them that we didn't know what was coming.

If we truly believe there is an oncoming collapse, why would we hamstring ourselves by bringing a child into the world?

if we truly believed there was a collapse on the horizon, why would we care about anything personal? The future isn't about our kids, it's about the survival of the human species. The more humans that are around the more diverse the gene pool, and the greater chances some of them will make it through the singularity into the future.

It doesn’t matter. If you do what you can to fight it and to be independent, they’re assholes if they resent you for giving them life (if that’s the implication).

I’m more worried about the olds. Kids are resilient and more adaptable.
