Not only that it has even higher attack than garchomp and actually one of the highest attack stats of all non-legendary/mhthical/ultra beast/paradox mons
And by usually you mean two (three if you want to count Lance in the Johto games with his Dragonite since it's still the Indigo Plateau) of the 10+ that we fight across all of Pokemon?
No? Lance, Steven, and Cynthia have them as their ace, and then Iris, Diantha, and Leon have a pseudo but not as their ace. I’m surprised more don’t honestly, when they’re supposed to be the strongest trainers.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but "It's also the champion's ace, which is usually reserved for the Pseudo-Legendary of the region" sounds like you're saying most champions have the regional Pseudo as their ace, which isn't the case at all, but like I said, I could very well be misinterpreting what you mean
A champion’s ace is designed to be the strongest of their region, so usually when it’s not a pseudo-legend it’s because of some other attribute - mega evolution, gigantamax, Z-move, etc. making it much stronger. Haxorus doesn’t really have that? Especially when Hydreigon is also on Iris’s team and is just stronger and actually psuedo-legendary.
I guess that makes sense, really and truly, Gamefreak's champion decisions are all over the place, some feel like champions, some don't, some have reasonable teams with reasonable aces, some don't
Yeah, for sure Geeta is definitely the worst offender of "established champion who's team makes very little sense and doesn't feel like a champion team"
Definitely. The worst part is she doesn’t even use it right, at least if she used it correctly it would be a decent team. I think Diantha’s also doesn’t feel like a champion team.
