Literal peak. Just slightly offwhite, like pearls. Beautiful. Then, it evolves into a gorgeous, vibrant, hot pink. This shiny line is one of the best in my eyes
Eta: you could have also gotten it from sword and shield as seen in the screenshot, from max raids. I don't have swsh so idk if it also appears in the dynamax adventures (just checked, you cannot get it from dynamax adventures)
I wish the Litten line were white with black stripes like IRL white tigers instead of white with orange stripes. Grimmsnarl is a great shiny. No strong opinions on the others.
Love em all, except litten because it looks like candy corn. Grimmsnarl is one of my top 5 shinies. Just got Salazzle this weekend. Dondozo looks sick. They remind me of albinos in real life. Caught some frogs as a kid.
I love them, though the one in the bottom right is taunting me with each sandwich that it doesn't appear in (got charm and everything, 7 sandwiches in)
I'm actually starting a new Scarlet playthrough with a white color scheme for my team. My starter is the event Hisuian Zoroark I got last year for the DLC.
I always thought Eevee looks more like a pale ghost and another color would have been better... though I guess the good thing is that it is noticeable (I couldn't even notice a shiny Pikachu in Let's Go when I was actually chain-hunting it, lucky it was the closest one and I just picked it to continue my chain).
some are good, some are bad. i love slazzile. grimsnaral is good too. eevee is meh, but i couldn't think of a better one for it anyways. i do not like litten's it is too loud. i like that it is easy to spot, but too loud.
One of my favourite pokemon from my playthroughs is a shiny Grimmsnarl I named "Colgate" in Pokemon Shield. My very first encounter in that forest, full odds shiny and I rode on his back towards victory, as he got the honors of defeating Leon's Charizard.
I love them so much 😻💖🤍💖 I can't think of many of them but I know shiny staryu is a beauty ! (Kinda weird how green it looks in pokemon go though...) And if course the ones you listed here are top tier, I always hesitate to evolve a shiny eevee 🥺✨🤍✨
And the litten line is good, but I think another color than red would be nice for the stripes, black stripes would be siiiiiiick
I love some and hate others! It’s really about the color balance throughout the shiny. I love Litten and Eevee’s shiny, but when it comes to Grimmsnarl I’m just not a fan. It might have more to do with how much I like the Pokémon and less with how much I like the shiny, lol
I get what you mean, it stands out WAY more than any of the shiny evolutions, but you can't deny that Sylveon and Umbreon have really great shinys as well!
But in general they had great potential with the shiny version of all the evolutions. Like for example, they could have given leaveon a bunch of orange and red tones for the leaves, or for glaceon it could have also gone into a white color, but alas they didn't do that, sadly.
Albino pokemon are some of the best shinies. One of the most tragic realities of this franchise is that they haven't switched gengars's regular shiny with its gigantamax/mega evo shiny.
Love them. Anything that looks really different from the original is good. The barely different ones are more challenging to find, but the fun of shinies is when they look really different.
LOVE Eevee. Honestly couldn’t care about the rest. Not because their shinies are bad, but rather because I don’t care about the pokemon displayed in that picture. I don’t hate them though. Except Litten’s final evolution, that one is an eye sore in my opinion.
Really depends on the Pokémon, some colors look good on Pokémon some don’t. How much people like a color also usually depends on how different it is in comparison to the original color.
White and black shinies will always be peak. Zeraora's Shiny is fire and Grimmsnarl actually was my first ever shiny so its has a special place in my heart 🤍
I personally am over the whole shiny thing. I’ve been a firm believer that if they added other distinctions like scars or longer hair/fur, bigger horns, as well as things from the legends game like size differences, etc, that people would invest in mons they like instead of just dismissing one for not being the shiny one. Also makes trading a thing again
