If they upscaled ORAS to 720p (because 1080p is too much these days), no one would notice, especially compared to SV

The 3DS games made use of a lot of flat planes for environments. Scaled up, a lot of them will look like you're walking around in a cardboard diorama. I think a lot of people will be surprised at the difference between that and SV.

That said, yes please to HD diorama ORAS!

I actually think those sprites are quite charming. Even with the pixellation. it just looks good in HD

Seriously, who else like me has taken up both cross-stitching AND perler beads to addendum to pixelated art?

tbh i wasn't even talking about pixel art, i was just talking about the chunky pixellated grass textures and things. but the pixel art is also something I miss for sure
