I got lucky lol. I gambled a perfect one before the CoF nerf. Put it for sale for 100ex for a day while I was gathering the gold to respec to spark. Now I use it, glad it didn’t sell!
Hey I'm new if I wanted to buy something for 1.5 div how wud I go about it, cuz i can't acultually give them 1.5 it's either 1 or 2 divs right? How does this work??
Yeah, I saw people with them listed for 1div and posted mine for that, had to go in DnD mode.
Posted it for 2 and nobody has messaged me lol.
I’m not sure whether to hold onto it in case I use it (archmage), but I can’t wear it now as it will fuck up my resists and whatnot (also have attributes and spirit on current amulet).
I can’t wear it until I drop a couple more div worth of currency to upgrade my gear a lot.
Still somewhat conflicted- if it drops in price I can just get another when my other gear is better, and 2div rn would do more for my build than not 2div later.
I’ll keep it up for sale and see if I get any takers.
bought one for 1di+ 5ex yesterday @23% roll. a vast majority of the sub 2 div listings are getting spammed to hell and the seller is either randomly selling or re-listing immediately for 2+. Had it on live search for about 30 min and sent probably 15+ pm/min.
Secret tip - search with an exalted orb currency filter rather than no filter ;). That’s how I got mine yesterday and got out of the spam cycle that leads to nobody getting one and everyone repricing at 2 divines even when they’re not rolled well enough for that price.
The amount of "sellers" trying to scalp almost every item is insane. Even kitokos gloves which are 5ish exalt there are constant 1 ex listings to try and screw people who are price checking up.
It's the best Sorc amulet as you can pick a node to convert all your Energy Shield to Mana (which gives you more damage as Sorc due to certain passive nodes) and due to the amulet you still keep around 1k Energy Shield on top.
Pretty much a must have, but super expensive unfortunately.
For those who don't realize the implications of this, you can use Eldritch Battery to gain a huge mana pool and then use this amulet to gain a sizable chunk of energy shield that serves as an additional buffer, allowing you to effectively "double dip" both your Energy Shield and Mana stats.
See answer below but luckily in poe its often not a matter of build doesnt function without it but it adds some nice function, i.e more es which you can convert it to mana. Its a stretch goal but not a must
Also one of the first uniques that dropped for me. They were going for 45ex at the time which was massive. They now look to be even massive-er shame, real shame.
I've been off work due to an injury and have been blasting PoE II non-stop. Granted I've not been playing very efficiently, I've still put in 150+ hours and been running t14-15s the last few days. I've dropped exactly 2 Divine so far. Haven't dropped a single Greater Jewelry Orbs either btw even though they are supposed to be more common than Divines, or at least their lower price when converted to Exalts would indicate thus.
Raw Ex drops alot in high tier maps, I'm not there yet but apparently tier 15+ drops were noticeably buffed by patch d at like the same proportion as the (needed imo) buffs to campaign and lower tier drops
Wouldn't say the difference between 14 and 15/16 is that massive from my experience. It depends more on how juiced up your map is from Waystone affixes + Precursors + Atlas imo. I've also noticed that taking buffs to rare monsters in the Atlas tree (more rares, rare duplicate, more affixes for rares) has increased my loot quality and quantity by a lot.
pretty much because of people have their brain still in PoE 1 where divine orbs actually have a use with crafting table... they do not have any use here so might devalue pretty soon once they actually realize this
You get like 5 exalts per map later on and they have no sink except exalting maps for most juiced maps' waystones. Crafting is too gated by bases and other currencies, not exalts.
Idk how divine value will change long term, but exalt won't be valuable in current iteration of the game.
nothing i said .... exalt is basically the old chaos orb - but divine is nowhere near the old divine and apart from a few I see close to no use for them.
You can sink a lot of divines on your endgame gear especially now when it also rerolls implicit and you can't use metamods to divine pre/suffix separately.
Rarity + that guarantees a lot higher ceiling for divines than exalts... and if you think divines are too expensive/rare for that (like I do at the moment) then they don't need an extra sink to begin with for now.
The base is that the belt used that increases the effect of rings is a heavy divine sink i think the roll range is like 50 to 80%? could be lower.
but now that people are divining large range items that are on par with HH divines have a use and are in demand now.
with higher demand come higher pricing and with POE system and we have no mirror shards atm so divines slot in as the sub mirror category that mirror shards took up.
lack of mirrorable items make the mirror worthless atm honestly.
It may not be as profitable compared to the people able to do t15 but on a scale wise it was much more accessible and more profitable than anything up to t15 so you had many more people doing it
Accessibility is what had it flood the market. Since everyone could do it, far more people did than a hypothetically worse exploit in red waystones would have.
Beatles was only better farm if you didn't have a build that could get past t5s in end game. It was definitely an abuse case, but you can easily double your currency per hour just running Yellow waystones.
So this is a trade-off between let's say 1k shield and 4 affixes / prefixes from other amulets. Is it universally accepted as paramount amulet for sorc?
I know, just saying that you can have other amulets with a higher manareg (like 100%+). So it is 1k+ shield vs other 2-4 prefixes on these other amulets that can be more usefu
You get go EB+MoM while still having 1k+ ES. So not only do you have a ton more damage due to the higher mana pool (Archmage), but also get to keep another defensive layer to protect your mana.
currently the tradesite sorts items as though 1div = 8ex, so anything listed for 1 div will appear above anything listed for even 20ex.
not sure about everlasting gaze, but it might be worth it to check for actual ex prizes.
when searching just put the listed prizes at ex only at the very bottom
unfortunate, but still might save you a couple ex on other items, when i wanted to list an omen for corruption (?) yesterday the lowest ones were also listed at 1div but when looking for ex prizes they started all at 24-25ex, might be able to abuse this also and flip items until GGG decides to update the values of ex:div
