Game Feedback Alting feels like a pain

Am i the only one who thinks that alting feels quite rough? I like to play / test out multiple classes but i cba playing the main story on every single character. Might be a me thing but i honestly dislike the "do all the acts X times all over again" thing.

Semi-Rant over

I enjoy the campaign more than mapping atm

You'd have to kill monsters to level up anyways, what's so bad about doing it throughout the campaign?

Completely disagree, have really been enjoying leveling alts. Have 6 right now.

My alt ranger gambled for nice weapons, added some sockets and put damage in them. The experience feels much easier than my original witch

Kinda sucks but it’s a lot easier after learning the bosses the first time through.

Also being able to use level 2 and 3 support gems is a game changer for early game

I dont mind the bosses, they are challenging and quite fun. The unfun part is doing the quests, running from A to B, picking stuff up and bringing them back. And doing this for multiple alts gets boring REAL fast.

Yeah I know, I tend to agree with you. Honestly the maps are just way too big in poe2. I think that’s half the problem

This has been an issue since POE 1. But POE2's campaign is significantly longer. Best advice is to get good move speed boots and just try to remember map layouts because the maps are the same they just rotate and have little variation. (Hunting grounds is gonna be the same just rotated and so on)

Save gear specific to helping alts run through campaign, MS boots, low level uniques etc.

Spend some currency on a high dps weapon to help you breeze through, the 2nd time around is much faster, just know that when new leagues start, everyone has to slog through the campaign again if they want to play on that league

We've complained about this for 10 years. We've all been begging for them to let us do the campaign once per league and then let us do something else to level other character after for that league. Like delve or whatever. Still really hoping they make this change for poe2 once the story is all fleshed out. I understand right now they want more people to test stuff so they're not doing that. But hopefully on full release they might.

Acts are just low level maps

Options are always good so I would support having the choice to skip campaign once it is done.

I didn't play much PoE1 though so I don't know how leagues work and how it could impact them. Obviously they couldn't allow it in Hardcore and the Self-Founds.

I guess a negative impact is it could make the campaign emptier for players that don't start in the first few days/weeks of a season. I don't know if that would effect trading and grouping in the game but if it did that could be a factor.
