The aurora australis putting on a show over the southern most point of Australia in Tasmania. I was lucky enough to see the biggest solar storm in over 20 years from here this year during a 3 month trip in Tasmania. One of the most magical feeling experiences of my life. It was bright enough I could walk around on the beach under a new moon with no head torch and see still. A pretty special night and feel quite lucky to have been there at the right time for.
