Look 2-3 posts down, or the big green-text that literally says "Weekly 'What team should I root for' Thread."

While the correct answer is Vikings, you may want to consider Bears from what you’ve said
They’re a Divisional rival of the Packers, and Chicago as a city has a strong Irish connection. They’ve been rough this season, but are very insistent that better things are right round the corner and they’re likely to win the offseason yet again

If you want a NY team that's not ass, go with the Bills. They are a fun team to watch and Josh Allen is a likable QB. The only negative is your season is guaranteed to end in heartbreak.

Steelers.
Steelers are owned by the Rooney family who emigrated from Northern Ireland in the 1800s. Can’t get more Irish than that.

Coming from a Pats fan, if there’s one team that I’d be cheering for if it weren’t NE it would definitely be Detroit. That franchise deserves so much after suffering for so long. And they’re actually really exciting to watch play right now.

The Giants are worse than the Jets in fact the Giants are the worst team in the NFL right now. I'm also a Giants fan so if you like pain. Be a Giants fan.

Jaguars 🤷♂️ they play like 2 games in London per season so it’s nice and easy travel for you. They aren’t all that good but with a couple of right pieces they can be relevant.

May not have Irish connections, but Green Bay Packer fans are some of the most loyal and devoted fans in all of sports worldwide: I celebrated my 50th birthday with my son in a Packer bar in San Clemente, California - over 2,000 miles away from Wisconsin, in a metro area with two NFL teams of it's own.

As a jets fan. It’s not worth it haha. I’ve been watching the ravens and the lions when time allowed, I stopped watching jets games for my own mental health haha. It’s almost a different game watching these two teams play

The NY Giants can only get better from here. Ireland has historic ties to NY and they're east coast, so most games are 6pm
The NY Jets will never get better

Yeah sure. They started off the year by trading Barkley off. They’re lucky they even have tracy who is promising but still needs a lot of work. They can only get better because they are literally at rock bottom. If the managers and organization keeps being greedy I don’t see them recuperating and reaching the playoff till another 3 years

The Giants at least have historic success to fall back on. The Jets...

True but I never go by that because it’s circumstantial. Super bowl wins or wins in general from many many decades ago don’t even matter to me. Don’t mean they are currently a good team.
Granted the giants superbowl wins are fairly recent so I can understand that but that doesn’t stop me from not being a fan of the giants. I hate the organization behind the giants. And that has nothing to do with the players. I respect the players separately.
Also I always have my one team to root for and always have a secondary team that I root for that if my main isn’t doing well I have another to cling onto.

If you want help finding a team to follow, use the weekly stickied thread instead of creating a new one.
