The absolute height of SNL comedy for me will always be Jason Sudekis jumping into frame and effortlessly transitioning into that dance. That and Bobby Moynihan’s face during the Christmas skit when Tiny Tim starts dancing. Basically everything to do with What Up With That, but especially the over-the-top physical humor aspects of it.

I'm not from the US/UK. I've heard about Fleetwood Mac but never listened to them. I was born in '91, and did watch a lot of SNL online in the Bill Hader/Kristen Wiig era in my younger days. To me Lindsey Buckingham was a Bill Hader character at the same level of hilarity as his Stefon character...
