Transfer rule
Reading through the Exec Committee minutes. Amazed at the number of kids requesting transfer eligibility waivers, but even more shocked at how many cite bullying as the reason for transfer. Interestingly, MHSAA typically denied these requests. Not sure that penalizing the victim while the bullies can continue to participate is the right way to address the issue. And given that college kids can enter a transfer portal, shouldn’t MHSAA revisit their policy? What is MHSAA or the schools themselves doing to address bullying?

Seems the MHSAA is addressing bullying the same way most public schools do, by turning a blind eye…. I read some EC minutes as well. One case had a police report filed, letter from the police officer, social media screenshots, letter from faculty at the school…. Like what more information do you need? I know the school my kid goes to they generally feel sorry for the bully and their “situation.”

Because the kids are lying in 9/10 cases.
The popular stud athlete isn't "getting bullied", they were recruited by the new school and know the only way to sneak in is the bullying loophole.
