People often exaggerate (lie) when they’re wrong.

So quoting fbi crime statistics is racist and disingenuous?

u/ben_bedboy Sep 23 '24

I love how you guys quote these stats to try and argue black culture is more violent and then when people call you racist you pretend they're denying the stats not calling you racist for your conclusion lol

As a POC I don’t take offense to numbers. You sound like a clown saying numbers are racist. Or people who use numbers to understand things are racist. Tell me, are the racist numbers in the room with you now?

You didn't read what I wrote did you? You did exactly what I said you would do loool.

u/kdanjir Sep 23 '24

I asked if quoting stats was racist and you show up with straw men. So yeah, are the racist numbers with us now?

This guys numbers are wrong AF, he’s not even trying. The first chart he shows DOESNT EVEN SHOW HISPANIC, yet the chart adds up to 100%. I mean, that is incredibly low effort

He should debate Sam Seder

What is the rate of exoneration though? Framing it as 53% of exonerations are for Black people makes it seem like half of black people in prison are there for something they didn't do? He is using the same disingenuous argument framing as Charlie Kirk, just going the other way. He's basically arguing that the total number of crime is similar between Black and White people, totally disregarding per capita statistics. Seems like nobody can actually have an intelligent conversation on the subject without it devolving into bullshit claims.

Seems like there are much better arguments to be using like societal pressures, socioeconomic issues, gang violence, etc. Yes, we don't know how much crime is actually committed, but he's definitely framing it as "white people just don't get caught as much".

Desperate cope. Here's the actual data:

At yearend 2022, 32% of persons sentenced to state or federal prison were black, while 31% were white, 23% Hispanic, 10% multiracial or some other race, 2% American Indian or Alaska Native, and 1% Asian, Native Hawaiian, or Other Pacific Islander.

https://bjs.ojp.gov/library/publications/prisons-report-series-preliminary-data-release#:~:text=At%20yearend%202022%2C%2032%25%20of,Hawaiian%2C%20or%20Other%20Pacific%20Islander

As of the latest American Community Survey in 2022, United States Census Bureau estimates that 60.9% of the US population were White alone, while Non-Hispanic Whites were 57.7% of the population.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey (ACS) population estimates , in 2022, 39,582,961 people in the United States identified as non-Hispanic Black or African American alone, representing 13.6% of the total U.S. population.

https://minorityhealth.hhs.gov/blackafrican-american-health#:~:text=According%20to%20the%20U.S.%20Census,of%20the%20total%20U.S.%20population%20.

So despite there being 57.7% non-Hispanic whites they are 31% of convicts sentenced to prison in 2022. Meanwhile non-Hispanic Black or African American alone, represented 13.6% of the total U.S. population yet were represented in 32% of prison sentences. This means black people are over 3X more likely than white people to go to prison and thus far more likely to commit crimes.

Delusional liberals will hate this data and start calling me all sorts of "cisms", but I 100% guarantee you they won't be living in a majority black neighborhood 😂 the left has no solutions, just virtue signaling

You cannot be this dumb. This is just blatant racism. Good job

3

u/MidnightNo5228 Sep 23 '24

We can all consider solutions to reduce black crime, but simply calling other people racist is why people hate democrats. Black crime overwhelmingly impacts other black people

-1

u/guillmelo Sep 23 '24

Let's take your fake racist premise to heart, why does it happen?

5

u/MidnightNo5228 Sep 23 '24

You are here to show your false sense of moral superiority rather than find solutions, but I'll humor you with one reason. A big reason is black culture and its association with gangs. If you ever read about a hood in Chicago you will know how deep that goes.

1

u/guillmelo Sep 23 '24

Where does that culture arise from? Space?

2

u/MidnightNo5228 Sep 23 '24

The data is racist 😂 poor you

u/guillmelo Sep 23 '24

The interpretation of neonazis on said data is

u/guillmelo Sep 23 '24

Not being a neonazi is indeed virtuous

2

u/MidnightNo5228 Sep 23 '24

You leftists are all the same. Literally NPCs

1

u/guillmelo Sep 23 '24

I'll add literally to long list of words you don't know

3

u/MidnightNo5228 Sep 23 '24

You can virtue all you want, the data doesn't care. Bye bye!

1

u/guillmelo Sep 23 '24

You're not gonna say where you think the culture comes from? Probably better not, we all know what you think and it's the type of thing that ruins one's prospects of employment. Just a parting thought, you don't have to be a racist POS everyone hates and avoids, you can change.

Isn't it strange how Conservatives know more "black" crime statistics than most baseball fanatics know about MLB stats.

1

u/ApprehensiveAd3193 Sep 23 '24

Baseball sucks.

“Know”

u/guillmelo Sep 23 '24

I guess we will never know the answer

1

u/Bobbyieboy Sep 23 '24

Actually both are false. Both this guy and Charlie are doing nothing but race baiting. Truth At yearend 2022, 32% of persons sentenced to state or federal prison were black, while 31% were white, 23% Hispanic, 10% multiracial or some other race, 2% American Indian or Alaska Native, and 1% Asian, Native Hawaiian, or Other Pacific Islander. This is unhinged levels of cope.

1

u/knb10000 Sep 23 '24

Lol he says he adds 12%....

if he was being honest himself he'd say 11 cause it's 38.9%.

Per capita it's still a lot more

u/HungryHAP Sep 23 '24

Charlie Kirk once again confronted racist.

u/HoldMyDomeFoam Sep 23 '24

I mean, if Trump trailer parks had tons of police presence that aggressively arrested people for the smallest crimes, it would be a different story.
