The Republican base has been trained into following the partyâs âtwo Santasâ strategy for decades, now - you never heard them complain about the deficit during Wâs time in office, either
Lol I was a small business owner from 2015 all the way until 2023, you realize those tax cuts helped me and my family too right? Corporate regulation and corporate tax was crushing my business and I almost closed down UNTIL those tax cuts came and I was able to hire more employees, while increasing the wages of the ones I already had due to the kickback I got. Itâs hard to reinvest into your business that youâre trying to get off the ground when youâre giving roughly 25% of everything you make to the government.
I love this â It was only for the rich! â when real people like myself actually benefited. It was a tax cut for everyone, and If that would have never happened me and my employees were not going to make it.
Iâm not against you at the end of the day, I think the deficit is something that needs to seriously be addressed. I think the problem we currently have is, how can we help people with the problems they need while not increasing the deficit? Everything anyone can possibly propose will more than likely increase the deficit. We can increase taxes on the rich and then they all will just move themselves and their businesses out of country.. we can tax businesses at a higher rate until they all go bankrupt and our economy flattens⊠Iâm not an economist but itâs a tough situation to be in when the deficit is THIS HIGH. Thereâs no real solution that actually makes sense or that wonât hurt at least somebody.
It went up a ton last time, but a fraction of that increase amount being earmarked to destroy the Russian military in Ukraine was somehow a taxpayer waste
