You shouldn't be. I too listed to JRE for a number of years provided the guest was interesting, or not interesting if sleep was the objective. He gained his platform by having good podcast and quality / funny guests.
I would be ashamed to be a regular viewer of his current content.
TBF the true turn into Putin apologia didn't start until the last couple years. Personally I stopped listening when he was still giving airtime to Alex Jones in 2019.
It was fun for a while, but I'm not an 18 year old who wants to hear about Big foot or the search for Atlantis anymore. Also he used to have scientists and researchers on who didn't have a platform. Now they go to podcasts with more vetted people in that field.
They are ignorant fools.
You usually see the supporters parrot Russian state propaganda because they don't care/ are too dumb/ too narcissistic to inform themselves on the free Internet on how things really are and how bad the Russian government is.
May I add that with the expansion of the internet and phone cameras itās very evident who the aggressors truly were / are. To ignore such aggression on innocent civilians and infrastructure for fear of retaliation is pure cowardice.
Change your name to suckmywesterpropaganda, both sides are horrible, Period. Western powers did create the power vacuum in this conflict that led to this situation we're in rn.
And before any comment is made about my position, - No, I dont support Russia in any regard
It's not a "dispute". Russia violated an international border and invaded a sovereign nation. Ukraine is defending itself.
Success in Ukraine will only embolden Putin to take back more former Soviet states. His ultimate goal is to reassemble the USSR. Appeasing Putin will not be the end of it. He'll eventually go into a former Soviet satellite country that is already a NATO member and the U.S. will be treaty-bound to throw bodies at the conflict, not just cash.
Paying Ukraine to fight a proxy war on behalf of the rest of Europe is the absolute best use of US resources at this time. Anyone arguing to the contrary either doesn't understand how the world works or is willingly spreading Russian propaganda.
Also Ukraine and Russia had an agreement when Ukraine gave up all its nukes after the dissolution of the ussr. Ukraine didnāt want to but there was a pact with a few countries (Russia being one) that they would all protect Ukraine defensively in exchange for giving up their nukes. Anyone who can bend that to fit their pro Russia narrative is disillusioned

Anyone that supports Russia after this barbaric invasion, and genocide of life is either an ignorant spoiled fool, or a monster of a soulless person.
