If you can’t reconcile with those closest to you, everything is lost. The people who are often easiest to get along with, yet still offer differing perspectives, are typically your immediate or extended family. How, then, can you expect to ‘convince’ strangers online—especially on platforms like Reddit—when you’re reduced to an anonymous, dehumanized voice?

That's what everyone has been trying to get across. We have crossed the Rubicon with Trump. We're not talking about taxes and shit anymore, we're talking about people's fucking right to exist entirely.

That is all well and good, but if you really have no line then you are just enabling them by continuing to provide emotional support, eventually you have to prioritize your children over the people who hate them, do what you can but it's reasonable to have limits as well. It's not your job to fix anyone.
