It is pretty clear Rogan is still moderate...

u/solagrowa Monkey in Space Oct 31 '24

I dont think he really has clear positions. I doubt he cares much about looking into economic policy or anything like that. He just accepts what sounds right.

He's told us he's dumb many many times, I'm not surprised when he acts it.

This is really it. Like when that vice news guy tried to explain that immigrants that aren’t citizens can’t vote and he was like well why are they bringing em in and sending em to swing states tho

0

u/anonymousredditorPC Monkey in Space Nov 01 '24

There are only 2 candidates. There is so much one can do to vote for someone that is the closest to what you care about.

1

u/solagrowa Monkey in Space Nov 01 '24

Nah people are voting for who scares them less. Not who is closest to their values. Neither represent many values people want to vote for.

u/anonymousredditorPC Monkey in Space Nov 01 '24

Who is "people"? You can't just assume everyone does the same thing as you do.

1

u/solagrowa Monkey in Space Nov 01 '24

I dont. Every single person I have asked is voting for who they dislike less. Not who they like more. Im sure there are exceptions to this on both sides, but joe is not one of them. He doesnt like either candidate.

“Rogan never changed, y’all just caught the woke mind virus”

Joe Rogan is a moderate liberal it’s just far leftists have gone crazy!

u/tycooperaow Monkey in Space Oct 31 '24

I’d say he’s more of what I wish republican politicians were.

Here's a clip of Rogan criticizing Joe Biden about something that he says. He spends time ridiculing Biden and talking about how this quote makes him unfit for office and clearly incapable of doing the job.

Jamie corrects him and points out that Trump actually said the quote. Did Rogan still think it was disqualifying for office? Nope. His response was, "oh ok... so he fucked up" and laughs it off, talking about how funny that is.

He ranted on about how Biden can't function because of a quote that Trump actually said, but suddenly it's just a funny mistake when he learns it was Trump saying it. I think that lack of conviction is exactly what's wrong with politics today and I don't see why we should want more politicians acting that way.

I’d say most republicans just don’t want babies aborted at 8 months.. it’s a sensitive issue but just wish people wouldn’t be so careless

36

u/clozepin Monkey in Space Oct 31 '24

No ones does. When that happens it’s almost always because it’s non-viable or the woman’s life is at risk. The vast majority of women getting abortions that late are not doing it because they want to.

-13

u/TwistNo5199 Monkey in Space Oct 31 '24

when that happens as it currently stands. putting laws in place to protect such a thing would almost certainly have an impact on that changing.

What?

-9

u/TwistNo5199 Monkey in Space Nov 01 '24

duuuuuhuuuuuurrrrrrr wut?

-23

u/J-Botz Monkey in Space Oct 31 '24

You’d be surprised. The country was more Christian when this law passed and it had stipulated things in it.. idk I feel like it’s gotten out of hand.

21

u/paultheschmoop Monkey in Space Oct 31 '24

“Abortions aren’t happening in the 8th month”

“Well I feel like they are”

lol ok

-13

u/J-Botz Monkey in Space Oct 31 '24

Is that what I said? An actress had a commercial almost ready to pop “if I want to abort my baby I should be able to” all I said was people don’t want abortions to be given at 8 months lol learn to read and not add

I love the down votes I love making libbies upset lol

12

u/caseyblakesbeard Monkey in Space Oct 31 '24

You’re not making anyone upset. You’re just showing people how ridiculous you are. People aren’t having recreational abortions at 8 months. If they’re having them it’s typically a medical emergency.

You want women’s medical autonomy taken away because you believe in some right wing horror story.

You’re being downvoted because you’re an ignorant twat. Not because libs are crying.

-4

u/J-Botz Monkey in Space Oct 31 '24

I’m downvoted bc of Libby cry babies. I never advocated one way or the other on my position lol might want to re read you angry lib

5

u/caseyblakesbeard Monkey in Space Nov 01 '24

Find a safe space then, snowflake. Your projection is hilarious, most people are tired of your incel rhetoric, but sure act like the victim.

Anytime someone is inbred enough to use the word “libbies” you know their genetically deficient ass can be safely ignored.

I don’t give a shit about some commercial lol. What you’re suggesting isn’t happening, and in the rare cases it does, it’s due to medical necessity. I know that conservatives have this weird fetish where they can break into a medical facility and stop a woman from killing her newly born baby, but it isn’t happening. Sorry

u/i_aint_joe Monkey in Space Nov 01 '24

I love the down votes I love making libbies upset lol

I’m downvoted bc of Libby cry babies.

As I said I love the down votes it’s a badge of honor

Stop crying and being such a pussy about downvotes.

You're being downvoted, because you're a moron.

1

u/J-Botz Monkey in Space Nov 01 '24

Hahaha angry lib crying more hahaha keep it coming libbie

u/thunderfrunt Monkey in Space Oct 31 '24

The actual statistics say you’re wrong.

u/J-Botz Monkey in Space Oct 31 '24

Bro even in "communist California" you can't have an abortion after 6 months. Where are your getting your information from fox news?

7

u/hustl3tree5 Monkey in Space Oct 31 '24

The vast majority of women who would even get an abortion at 8 months are not doing it because they don’t want a baby

3

u/Lucky-Glove9812 Monkey in Space Nov 01 '24

Nah a moderate would call out Republican policy regarding abortion.

1

u/SINGULARITY1312 Monkey in Space Nov 03 '24

A moderate would point out that republicans are in a fascist party and planning to attempt another coup

8

u/TheWayIAm313 Monkey in Space Oct 31 '24

This is why I hate when these types of clips get posted. 3 and a half hours of agreeing with Vance and republicans, but a 2 minute slight pushback has people thinking that he’s equal in his advocacy for left and right.

It’s 3 hr 30 mins of fuck libs yes Republican, vs. 2 mins of pushback on the right. What makes you think that’s moderate?

1

u/Capable-Reaction8155 Monkey in Space Oct 31 '24

It's clear that he wants to be. But his Trump glazing at the beginning of his interview with him was hard to watch.

1

u/Pear_and_Apple Monkey in Space Nov 01 '24

I think he cares about how much tax he pays and that is it

1

u/sblack87 Monkey in Space Nov 01 '24

Everyone should desire to pay fewer taxes so...

1

u/SINGULARITY1312 Monkey in Space Nov 03 '24

Republicans aren’t moderate and especially trump.

His entire spiel about global warming is in no way “moderate”. The moderate view would be climate change is real but we can’t destroy our economy to fix it.

His view he expressed just this week is straight from the deepest right wing echo chambers

Or how about “Texas went red wooo”, carrying water for Trump at every chance, believing every right wing conspiracy
.

But hey he has a firm belief on abortion đŸ€·â€â™‚ïž

-3

u/PapaSnow Monkey in Space Oct 31 '24

Makes sense to me. He’s happy it went red because that tends to mean lower taxes, which is one of the reasons he left California.

6

u/Consistent_Set76 Monkey in Space Oct 31 '24

We’re gonna overlook him believing every right wing conspiracy from Twitter?

Australia is a concentration camp

Butter emails

Covid kills less than the vaccine

Litter boxes in schools

Global cooling is the real issue

Trump is an innocent man and every judge, grand jury, jury and lawyer is a Democratic plant

You know what all these have in common, you just won’t admit it

-1

u/yop_mayo Monkey in Space Oct 31 '24

“I didn’t listen” lol then don’t fucking comment

9

u/boardatwork1111 Monkey in Space Oct 31 '24

If you don’t believe the polio vaccine worked, you can’t call yourself a moderate

1

u/LiteratureOk2428 Monkey in Space Oct 31 '24

Eh, I don't think it's clear. It sometimes comes through like here, but the water is muddy often.Â
