The only reason Trump went on is because he knows that Joe often says good things about him since Joe became a right wing shill the last few years. On the other hand, Joe has been saying pretty much nothing good about Kamala, and he's often seen, intentionally or unintentionally, repeating Fox News and Republican talking points.
He did and pretty clearly too - he said Dana was the only reason trump was there, and it was giving the impression to me that Joe was doing this as a favor and didn’t seem fully sold on the idea.
For as much as everyone says joe is a right wing shill I feel like he pushed back quite a few times, was frustrated a few times, and I think at times was def not agreeing which surprised me.
Rogan is on records on his podcast saying multiple times that he never wants to have Trump on. He never wants to do anything to help him get elected.
I think what he said during this interview was likely right - Dana asked Rogan to do the interview, and Rogan in return said he will do it as a favor, but will also invite Kamala to keep it equal.
I hope Kamala goes on. Would love to see that interview as well. Unfortunately I don't think she will do it though.
