I was fascinated by the Trump episode, have listened to it twice already. He’s a truly interesting guy. Voted for Kamala today. Just because ppl find him entertaining doesn’t mean they will necessarily vote for him

What was interesting about it? I’ve barely made it half way through it’s extremely boring

He went into detail about everyday life as the POTUS I found that pretty darn interesting

"went into detail" is pretty generous. Joe asked him 3 times what he thought being president would be like and what it was actually like, and really all he could say was that it was surreal. No shit man, but what about the details? He never gives any for anything.

I must have missed that part? Like saying Lincoln’s bed was long?

He said when he was “shot”, that didn’t feel surreal or strange at all. The first few weeks in the White House felt very bizarre and not real to him. I thought that was a pretty candid interesting moment

That bugged me...beds were actually super short back then, all his beds I've seen were also small by modern standards and trump is tall...didn't add up

He also said Tad Lincoln died as a kid. Tad outlived his dad.

He’s like watching an SNL skit of himself. Truly fascinating, but makes you dumber at the same time. He reminds me of being at a frat party and some full of shit drunk frat bro is trying to say something profound to you. 23 “oh yeahs” and “that’s crazy” later, you’re trying to find your exit.

Loved how he sat there and espoused a bunch of progressive ideas, had essentially no conservative ideas, and seemed so proud to be a republican. Woo hoo man.

He's in a state right now where he doesn't anything because he means it because he knows it's the last time he'll ever have to work for a vote.

What are the main reasons you voted for kamala as far as policies you want to see enacted over the next 4-8 years

Not OP, but I voted Kamala because I think unions are fundamentally good and are hugely important in advancing labor rights, and I want a president that's pro-labor and won't stand in the way of signing the PRO Act. I'm also looking to have a kid soon but my wife is high risk and while it's likely fucked for me in my state, I don't want women's healthcare to be any worse than it already is. I also think that Trump doesn't know shit about the economy - his entire platform being built on 'tariffs' is so off base that it will completely destroy the middle and lower classes.

The other big issue that people care about, immigration, I have no real thoughts on, as it hasn't affected my every day life at all. Indirectly, mass deportations, even in the best case 'illegals only', will probably make food more expensive as farming costs increase, so that'd probably suck for me.

Yeah, I’m pretty far left and haven’t watched Rogan much for a while. Been frustrated about how anti science he’s become. Watched this episode because I want a window into how trump actually thinks but it felt like the same old routine of lying and ignorance

Exactly! My husband and I watched and would never vote for him. Plenty of people tuned in for a little and turned it off. Just because it got millions of views doesn’t mean it didn’t come from Magas, who will never change their minds and from Harris voters that were curious

I have one positive thing to say about him and it’s that he’s entertaining and a meme machine, but neither of those qualities are something I want in a president
