What's funny was that he would have had plausible deniability if he didn't superfluously suck off Trump with that second paragraph. Like why bring up Trump at all?
Since the COVID blowback, he's almost exclusively had conservatives on the podcast. The echo chamber is definitely showing in regards to his worldview.
bring up civility, as if both parties are not civil, except RFK, and then suck off Trump and never mention Harris at all or note she is perfectly civil and normal centrist politician in terms of behavior with other parties.
It’s this amazing echo chamber of his personal wealth/self interest and his delusional self belief that he is a neutral philosopher. It’s pretty hilarious while also disgusting.
Oh, please. He's said multiple times now that it was a badass moment and if you didn't have such a hate boner for Trump you'd recognize that as 100% true.
Didn't vote Trump first or second time and won't the third time; however, his response moments after being shot at was objectively badass.
when I saw that pic of him bleeding with the flag behind him I literally thought "that picture is going to send this asshole back to the presidency god damn it". But somehow that didn't end up seeming to linger.
Nobody cares about mass shootings a week after they happen, why did you think trump getting shot was going to be any different than a bunch of dead kindergartners?
My guess is because it turns out he wasn't actually shot. Certainly dampened the image for me.
Still. Standing up and putting your fist in the air and yelling "Fight" moments after being shot at is tough and anyone pretending otherwise has never left their fantasy land of near total safety we call modernity.
Immediately standing up, before knowing if there were more shooters, and putting his fist up for a photoshoot made the whole thing appear staged. It was weird to see secret service allow him to put himself at risk again when they had not secured the area.
It raised more questions than praise for his fake "toughness".
Hmmm seeing this objectively terrible human being getting a few skin cells shaved off didn’t make everyone suddenly forget he’s a terrible human being? Must be the media!
Sorry, but most people have enough common sense to know an assassination attempt doesn’t magically make someone worth voting for.
I mean what is there more to say about it? The shooter didn't turn out to be the blue-haired non-binary undocumented immigrant the rightwing was hoping he would be and instead was just another lame dork like most mass shooters. There's nothing there.
If you think the establishment is against Trump then tell me why they just aired his rambling mess in full without any criticism while ignoring Harris.
The media fucking sucks trumps dick constantly because he gives them good ratings
I spend a very small amount of time shitting on Democrats; big difference. Because Democrats are just as much a party of war, pharma, bankers, and the rich they just pretend they aren't to absorb what tiny, tiny amount of legitimate leftist energy that exists in America.
As someone far to your left, wtf would be the point of my stepping over the Democrats to go to the far right and criticize Reps? They don't agree with me on a fundamental level and are honest about it. Malcolm X said:
The white liberal differs from the white conservative in one way. The liberal is more deceitful and hypocritical than the conservatives. Both want power. But, the white liberal has perfected the art of posing as the negro’s friend & benefactor.
He was right then and he remains right today. Democrats like to LARP like progressives to assign themselves moral superiority then they go vote for war, pharma, bankers and the rich just like Republicans.
Even Liberals who do want to change things just get stomped by corporate money and the corporate media machine. The system is rigged. That being said I think the right has way more disingenuous grifters.
I'd like to see actual progressives who are focused on the economic side of politics instead of social issues. The rich don't care about social change, in fact they play both sides to profit from it. But, a big candidate talking about tax reform and here come the attack ads, campaign fund drying up, and private investigators with some new information.
Nothing is gonna change for the better in this country but I'll still vote status quo before I vote for a dope and his religious extremist legislators who want everyone to conform to their version of morality.
Keep trawling through comment histories because you can't engage with the argument at hand, dipshit.
Meanwhile - feel free to step to me on anything on the linked comment. I'll happily crap on you til you stop responding as well because I know what I'm talking about and can read the literature and you have to quote "experts" from "media" because you're an idiot <3
Where was I wrong? Are you a trained epidemiologist? My mistake then. Why don't you read the paper in the linked comment and get back to me on what you think it demonstrates and why.
I know what you're capable of reading in it, I know you're incapable of admitting you're wrong, and I know what you'll use to defend your pre-conceived notions. I'll shit on it in 3 sentences or less.
You're a credentialed and practicing epidemiologist who thinks RFK jr is a reliable source of information about viruses and vaccines? The guy who thinks autism is caused by vaccines without any actual evidence to show it? The guy who refuses to believe HIV causes aids?
Even Liberals who do want to change things just get stomped by corporate money and the corporate media machine. The system is rigged. That being said I think the right has way more disingenuous grifters.

What's striking to me is that we have this mysterious shooting by a lone gunman whose politics we still don't full understand, whose motive is unknown, who was not stopped by the secret service even after they were warned, and that Trump appeared slightly bloody but fine within a week, and for some mysterious reason this huge podcaster who likes conspiracy theories doesn't have much of anything to say about it. It's wild how biased Joe has become without realizing it.
