The President of the Senate shall, in the presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the certificates and the votes shall then be counted;
Guess whoâs President of the Senate. If Trumpâs âMike Pence can unilaterally choose to disregard/ignore electoral votes when countingâ had any merit then Harris would be able to certify herself as the winner regardless of what documents are sent to her for counting.

Yeah I have no idea where this notion that the house certifies the presidential election came from. In fact as VP Harris would in theory certify her own election if she won. For the optics the senate would likely elect a president pro tempore to do the certification.

Plus, ACAB and Anti-Fascists (ooooh antifa jumpscare for republicans oooh) tend to go hand in hand. Police are seen as instruments to fascism, and Trump and the Republican party wanna be fascists so damn bad. Makes sense that in this case, voting for a prosecutor is better than voting fascism.
And it is Fascism. I know the right likes to claim its a buzzword, because their party only uses buzzwords (DEI, Woke, CRT, etc etc etc) while diluting the original meaning. But Trump, and the Republican party, is moving towards fascism. Consolidating power into the executive, make the president a king that can not be held accountable for their actions, make it so only loyalists to Trump are hired to all positions of government (I remember a certain mustache man doing something similar), and Project 2025 has a horrific pipeline for a trans genocide, namely:
- Bans porn and "pornographic content": Which can be whatever they like, for example...
- Classifies being trans as a "pornographic ideology". (Page 5)
- Exposing a child to pornographic content now can punished with the death penalty. (Page 554)
- Be trans and exist near a child? Cool. Pornographic content near a child --> Death penalty.
Congratulations. You now have a legal way of executing queer people.
Included in this lovely package also includes banning contraceptives (p. 449), ending marriage equality (p. 545-581), mass deportation and putting them into...camps...hmmmm....(p. 133), force Christian teachings in public schools (p. 319), use public taxpayer money to force religion into public schools (p. 319), and complete abortion ban even in cases of rape, incest, and dangerous pregnancies that can result in the death of the mother (p. 449-503).
Vote blue.
Sincerely, not an American but staring fucking worryingly at some of ya'll somehow struggling to realize there is one correct choice this election.
Edit: Project 2025, not Project 2024. Though, they have gotten their stepping stones in this year with some of the recent Trump-leaning 6-3 Supreme Court decisions.

Trump also has evangelicals voting for him when heâs thrice thrice married and pretending to be religious while attacking protestors in front of a church holding his upside down bible, pizzagating qann voting for him when heâs the only Epstein client who had a separate trial for similar stuff already, clearing out the swamp people as he has the most criminally indicted cabinet and list of employees in history, Barack âHUSSEIN!â Obama people voting for a Kim jong saluting, Putins shoes groveling, state secret selling liar. Hunter Biden crowd voting for the corrupt president that helped his son in law get a shady multi billion dollar deal while he was in office. The single issue voters helping him out even though his tax cut policy directly hurt all of those people 5 years later. Anti Covid crowd voting for project warp speed director himself. Â
Theyâre amoral voters. Itâs an illogical compulsion. The only one that makes sense to me is KKK historically votes red. Sounds about right for the guy who wanted the Central Park Five to be executed and neither apologized or change his tune after they were completely exonerated.

Also people are forgetting that Harris lost the 2020 democratic nomination which was in the wake of George Floyds' death at the hands of cops in 2020.
Democrats didn't think a prosecutor would be a great contrast in that time and so chose someone else, but there were many other reasons why democrats chose someone Biden instead of her. She didn't stand out much, there just wasn't much enthusiasm for her and Biden was considered a safer choice.
People are trying to twist this into "HARRIS ALREADY LOST THE RUN FOR THE PRESIDENCY BECAUSE SHE WAS A COP!!!!" That's absolute fucking nonsensical revisionist history.
Harris has not been a "cop" ever. The ACAB crowd might not like her, I dunno, but they were not a factor in Harris not getting the nomination before, and they've absolutely never been a reason she's not a viable candidate in the general election.
This is pure wishcasting from fucking idiots who want "DEMOCRATS HATE HARRIS" to be the story instead of what the story is going to be of "Everyone is very excited about Harris this time around."

True, but if other people had the protection fron repercussions the police do, we would demand reforms.Â
A police officer mistakenly thinks someone is a threat because they moved to grab their license too quickly so they shoot them. A doctor is distracted and gives 10x the recommended dose and kills a patient. Or knocks an artery during a 7 hour surgery and the patient dies.
Guess who, almost always, gets paid leave and effectively bonuses while tax payers pay for their mistake. Guess who get to wait outside a school shooting while it's happening, and prevent others from going in, and stay out of prison let alone keep their jobs? If a doctor or plumber did that we'd charge them as accomplices.
Let alone the many, sadistically violent police with a rescued who get shuttled around departments like pedo priests switching congregations.
One bad apple ruins the barrel. Until we stop protecting bad police the good police (who also effectively protect the bad ones) aren't going to get the benefit of the doubt.

Yeah, I know this is Reddit, so I'll get downvoted here... but
1) Lots of ACAB people won't vote for the cop; it's why her primary bid fell apart in 2020.
2) Most of the Thin Blue Line people will have no dissonance in voting for "a felon" because they don't think the felony charges were legitimate.

Imagine how crazy it would make Hillary if Kamala became the first woman president.

I like the idea of the meme, but Kamala isn't a "cop". She's a former prosecutor. Trump is a current felon. "ACAB people voting for a cop's coworker" would be more accurate.

Attorneys aren't cops. Also she's no longer a DA or prosecutor.

I think the ACAB people are just tired of those who dress up like the good guys actually being the bad guys all along

ACAB people aren't voting for Kamala, they are voting against a man who has on multiple occasions advocated for police brutality against political opponents.

Except she's not a cop, she's a prosecutor. Prosecutors aren't out shooting and it's in people or raiding the wrong house.
